Yuasa NP7-12 6.3 mm lead battery

I bought this to replace a dead battery for the iBox UPS protecting my iMac. The battery is a high-quality Japanese unit and has so far worked perfectly. It is a direct replacement for the original battery fitted in the iBox - same dimensions. Installation is a bit of a fuss, but that's the fault of the design of the iBox, not of the battery - length of the iBox battery leads is slightly too short for comfort. Delivery was extremely prompt and it was well packaged.

I ordered the Yuasa NP7-12L, but received the NP7-12. However, the battery fits perfectly and the terminals are the correct size for the APC CS 500 UPS. (The "L" designation is supposed to indicate the terminal width, i.e. "Large".) Anyway, the battery was fully charged and everything is working fine again. The previous genuine battery lasted 7 years, although I had been getting warnings for weeks.

Like-for-like replacement for Flymo cordless strimmer battery that had died. Batterry works well - strimmer now functioning as new. Much cheaper than buying a new strimmer. Battery exactly as described and arrived earlier than stated. Excellent service.

Have purchased this make and model of battery before and found them to be of excellent quality and reliability.

The old Yuasa battery lasted fifteen years in a strimmer , so when it finally died on me I naturally replaced it with another Yuasa . As I`m nearly 70years old the big question is who will die first , me or the new battery !! .

Tot nog toe werkt deze accu prima , hopelijk gaat hij lang zo blijven !Maar het is een aanrader , ik zou hem nog kopen .

Cette batterie était destinée à remplacer la batterie d'origine d'un onduleur APC BR550GI : un modèle CSB GP1272F2, de dimensions identiques et capacité nominale presque identique (7 Ah pour 7.2 Ah pour la batterie CSB). A la réception, après un petit complément de charge j'ai procédé à une décharge complète (tension finale 10V) pour mesurer sa capacité. Le résultat est très satisfaisant : au régime de décharge de 350 mA (C/20), la capacité relevée est de 7.66 Ah (91,8 Wh en tenant compte de la variation de tension). Bien sûr cela ne reflète que les performances initiales de cette batterie, mais c'est un très bon début !PS : Cette version à cosses faston de 1/4" est parfaitement adaptée au BR550GIMise à jour avril 2026 (les lignes ci-dessus datent de juillet 2018) :Mon onduleur depuis deux jours bipait périodiquement pour me signaler qu'il était nécessaire de changer la batterie. J'ai sorti la batterie pour constater que je l'avais changée le 25/07/2018, elle a donc tenu presque 8 ans !!Si je pouvais je lui mettrais 6 étoiles !Je vais donc reprendre la même pour faire repartir mon onduleur, bien que le prix ait presque doublé en 8 ans :-/Bravo Yuasa, en espérant retrouver la même qualité dans le prochain exemplaire de cette batterie.
