Gritin Silk Sleep Mask, Eye Mask for Sleeping, 100% Real Natural Silk

This sleep mask is very soft and comfortable, stays fairly cool and keeps out the summer morning light very well. It’s thin and light weight so good for fussy people.

We moved house in August 2018 and I practically need a cave to sleep in. Our new bedroom was still too bright even with blackout blinds, so decided to invest in some new sleep-masks to achieve a lay-in at weekends (and not waking up at 5am in summer!) I already had a few eye-masks from long-haul flights, but they were getting a bit tatty. I ordered a selection of sleep masks in October 2018 and this is by far the best one for the way I sleep. As someone who sleeps flat on their front, moulded eye-masks tend not to work well - as soon as I place my face on a pillow or mattress, a ridged mask will move and then lets in some light. I thought that this eye mask would be WAY too big for my face, but the fact that it appears 'oversized' is what makes it perfect. I can lay on my front, put my face onto the pillow/mattress and NO light gets in! The material is so comfortable too. Really soft and a pleasure to have against my skin. I haven't found it too warm, but I am quite a cool person and live in the UK (not warm!). I love it so much, I don't want to wash it, in case it ruins it in some way. :-( I do have a spare, so I'll have to put one in the wash whilst the having the other as back-up. I would honestly recommend giving this eye-mask a try if you sleep on your front/side.. it's been perfect for me.

This is good. I get migraines that I can ease by covering one eye. I tried eye patches but the ones I tried were unconfortable, poorly made things barely suitable for a kids pirate costume. This works for sleep, it blocks the light pretty well, some gets in around the nose but it's not much, it can be messed with to make it better and I suppose it depends on the shape of your face and nose. No light comes through the fabric. That said, I mostly use it for an eye patch. I just fold one side up so I can see out of one eye. The mask is soft and flexible enough to accomodate this without damage to the mask or discomfort to me. I'm not a sleep mask expert but this seems like a pretty good, low cost mask that won't make you hot and sweaty like some other masks surely must do with their beefy, pillow like design.

It works and is comfortable to wear I was able to get a good nights sleep.

For the price it is hard to complain, however I bought this because it was so highly rated. For a night or two it was ok, but it starts to crease and become looser as you use it. I'd also not recommend if, like me, you are a side sleeper as the mask regularly slips off. I'd also add that if it is a warm night you can find your eyes sweating with the heat. I'm trying not to be too harsh here as it wasn't expensive, but after the first week I stopped using it as it just doesn't stay where it should. I've tried the mask looser, tighter and all in between but nothing works. I'm sure if you sleep on your back this works, but prepare that it'll slip for side sleepers.

This product is hit and miss. I do like it as so far it’s been better than my other eye masks but I am looking to replace this as it doesn’t block out all the light as it still peers through underneath because of your nose. I like the fact the strap is adjustable which helps it stay on but I still find it shifts a bit and when the strap rests on my ears that can hurt and make them ache for a while after. So like I say it’s just hit and miss, sometimes it works wonders and stays on if I haven’t had a restless night and will actually help block the light when in the right position and other times it can ache my ears and ends up letting all the light in. The material on the eye mask is lovely and soft against my face but like I said I’m going to get a mask which has a built in arch for your nose to block out light. Oh and it looks nothing like the photos but the way.

This is a non-negotiable in my sleeping routine. + adjustable band + soft, cool fabric +sits well on the face - not really the eye mask, but the ear plugs are nothing special

Je suis très satisfaite de ce masque pour le sommeil. Il est de bonne qualité, très doux, très agréable à porter et ne laisse pas de trace sur le visage. Il permet de bien dormir.

This eye mask has actually proved to be even better than I thought it'd be. It's very soft, really blocks out light, breathable (creates no sweat, which can be the case with synthetic materials) and the possibility to adjust the strap is essential for someone like me, who uses this every night for sleep. Another plus is that it comes in a practical little ziplock bag, useful when travelling. I still wonder if this is really silk (because of the low price and since there is no mention of the material on the actual product), but the material is great no matter what it is. I really recommend this eye mask!

Passa la luce, e non è anatomica sul viso. Per avere un effetto oscurante apprezzabile stretta molto forte. Ma in questo caso, almeno a me, da fastidio la cinghia che stringe e l'immobilità delle palpebre.
