Highly recommend this brand!
I purchased the 64 GB microSDXC card in April 2018 to use in my dash cam, and it has been performing flawlessly ever since. Even after years of continuous use, it shows no signs of issues or slowdown. The storage capacity is perfect for recording high-quality video without worrying about running out of space. Overall, this microSDXC card has proven to be reliable and durable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing dependable storage for their devices.

Genuine Samsung product (detailed test results)
As always when I buy a USB drive or an SD card online, I ran a test suite on reception of the item. They confirmed a capacity of 119.25GB (which is normal for a 128GB SD module). The writing speed was in the right range at 15MB/s but may be underestimated due to the adapter I have had to use to plug it in. The reading speed was around 1.3 GB/s.Aesthetically, the card is well finished (clear printing, solid white plastic) and came with a Samsung branded microSD/SD adapter. It arrived in a small unbranded plastic case (the "Amazon special packaging" I imagine). This seems to be a genuine Samsung product. At ÂŁ20 this is a great deal.I was careful to buy this item from the sellers called "Samsung" with a legit-looking store. I cannot guarantee you'd get a genuine product with other sellers. Note that the fact that it is fulfilled by Amazon is *irrelevant*, it is the seller that matters.Technical detail============I used the linux tool f3 to check the capacity and performance of the card:$sudo f3probe /dev/sdc --destructive --time-ops```F3 probe 6.0Copyright (C) 2010 Digirati Internet LTDA.This is free software; see the source for copying conditions.WARNING: Probing normally takes from a few seconds to 15 minutes, butit can take longer. Decent storage, pity about Samsungs tablet I use it in.
Used for a new tablet and bought Samsung as the tablet is that brand. The storage card works fine, pity the tablet mucks about and seems to hide or erase stuff or else won't save to the card. Rather annoying. As usual the amount of storage is less than 128gb but only by a bit, (hence dropped a star) still over 100gb so that is fine. I deleted off all the guff then put on the card so I could use it in full. Pity their tablets aren't as user friendly. My idea was to save stuff from my pc onto the tablet (music and documents with some image files) as an extra backup. Plus being able to access the documents for use in libraries and archives away from home. The tablet doesn't make it easy. Plus won't open some file types. In conclusion, memory card is fine and works ok, but getting it to be 'compatible' with a Samsung tablet .... well be careful what you try and store to it. I wouldn't rely on their tablets being any sort of back up. Luckily it isn't my only backup.

Seems reliable and performs well
I bought this to use in a trail/wildlife camera, which had an SD slot (not micro) because it came with an adaptor.A review of such a camera recommended this brand and type of micro SD card saying that many supposed camera faults were actually just unreliable SD cards (a certain well known make was mentioned). It arrived quickly and while packing was minimal it was adequate. I decided to give it a go immediately as the camera had just arrived and I have been pleased with it so far. As with all memory storage solutions the real test is months and years down the line but if you wait to review them then then the manufacturer will have updated/replaced the items rendering such a review out of date (the new version possibly being better/worse).So, given the usage so far, which I might add has been in cold temperatures in the garden as well, I am very pleased with how it performs. With its adaptor it slots into the SD card slot on my trail camera and MacBook Air nicely and is read with no issues on my Mac (not yet tested on PC).SD cards are one of those things, like batteries and cables, that you always seem to need more of and barring a post-review disaster I would look to get the same again the next time I need one and would have no hesitation recommending Samsung Evo.

A good quality reliable and fast SD Card
I could quite easily leave this review with just the headline. I wish everything in life was this simple and just good. This is a great example of "it does what it says on the tin".I have always bought SanDisk SD cards, which were just as good until last year. When I found that all new cards I purchased were failing within months of purchase. I had to find an alternative and after reading lots of reviews I bought a few of these Samsung Evo cards 64GB.I use them in phones, tablets and smart home cameras which record and re-record all of the time. I have 3 at present and as yet none have failed. But that was also trued of the older SanDisk cards. (BTW I still have a number of older working SanDisk cards, its only the newer ones that seam to fail far too early). So would I recommend these cards, so far 100% yes. If anything changes I will update this review, but otherwise buy them!I have had an afterthought, I suppose I should also mention packaging. These do use some plastic in their packaging. In this day and age I think this is unnecessary and should be removed asap. That is certainly the case with all packaging, either reusable plastic or easily recyclable card.

What a PERFECT Micro SD Card!!!
Just perfect and, on a 16Mb camera (the Panasonic GX800), it's going to give me a "minimum" (of Fine JPEG and at maximum resolution) of OVER 14,000 (yes, fourteen thousand!) photos! If I looked for the "maximum" (not that I would use it but just out of interest - being a 4Mb photo at normal JPEG resolution), it would give me OVER 80,000 (yes, you read that correctly too - EIGHTY THOUSAND) photos!!The speed of the card is also suitable for 4K video and will permit me to record videos of up to 5 minutes (the camera then stops recording as a "safety"measure) and, if I chose FHD (Full High Definition), it will allow me to record videos of up to 20 minutes. As far as other cameras are concerned, I cannot comment of recording times - these being that of my Panasonic camera.Final comment is that I would not hesitate to buy more of these cards although, with such a huge capacity, I feel that it will be some time before I do!!Thanks for reading this - I confirm that I do NOT work for Samsung nor am I being paid in any way for this review.

An essential card for film-making and photography with a DSLR
I purchased this card a couple of days ago for film-making and photography, originally as a backup SD card for my DSLR, but now I'd probably consider the Samsung EVO Plus 64gb as one of my two primary cards: matching evenly with my Sandisk Extreme. When searching for a card which would be capable in filming with Ultra HD (4K) resolution, I found that the Sandisk Extreme models (standard size SD card) of the same calibre as this card were up to seven pounds more expensive for the 64gb capacity; whereas this micro SD card is just as perfectly suitable for filming in 4K when used with the included SD card adaptor. Furthermore, users of DSLRs have often complained that the write speeds of the Sandisk Ultra cards, which are at the same price level as this product: are usually suitable until the card reaches around 80% capacity - where many have reported noticeable slowing down of writing pictures to the card: an issue that is completely eliminated by the high read and write speeds of this card.In conclusion, this card is lower priced than its competitors of the same quality and write speeds, and is ideal for use in even a professional camera for 4K filming and extensive photographic use in the field. Much recommended buy for anyone in need of a full-size SD card - by use of the included adaptor.
