InvictaGrand Diver Men's Automatic Watch

A very high quality heavy automatic. Bezel is not as good as smaller models
The media could not be loaded. I do like an automatic watch and Invicta has now become a brand I really appreciate. This is now my 2nd watch from them and it is fantastic. I originally got one of the smaller divers style watches, but i wanted something in gold and this was a bit more special and struck a good balance with the silver and gold. The watch bracelet is made from stainless steel. The outward facing steel is brushed steel, but the edges are polished, and the gold is also polished. Any polished surfaces have a beautiful mirror shine. The clasp is a fold and lock style clasp, which after closing is very secure. The size can be adjusted by quick release pins at the clasp, or by removing links. My wrists are not small and i removed 3 links then adjusted for summer and winter (hot and cold) at the clasp. This is a heavy heavy watch. It is bigger and the clasp links are all solid metal, along with the larger case. It does take some getting used to.The face is a beautiful silver with an effect that catches the light and reaches out from the centre. The pics really don't do it justice. The numerals have glow in the dark dots that work reasonably well. They are also clearly shaped to indicate 12, 6, 9, or other. The magnifying window is never placed on squarely and this is no different but it is still easily read. The bezel is nowhere near as good as the smaller models. It's difficult to grip and turn. The notches are small and smooth. Wet hands will not work with this. There is also a small amount of free play compared to the smaller models. It is easily read though and gives a satisfying click as it turns. The movement uses a NH35A. This is a very common movement and easy to swap out down the line if need be. It is also known for being reliable. This is no different. Over the course of a week, mine went fast a minute or 2. But otherwise kept good time. The movement swings smoothly and of course self winds by being worn easily. Even when sat at a desk i have not had the watch stop on me.Looks. It's stunning. It is a big watch and looks fantastic. If you do have gold rings it goes very well with it. Also if you have big arms it will compliment them. This is rated for 300m and has a screw down bezel. I haven't dived that far but pool and bath use so far has been absolutely fine with no issues.Excellent watch, excellent value. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

My first automatic Grand Diver, It's yellow and it's a real stunner.
I researched this watch for my Christmas treat to myself after I watched a lot of Invicta videos on the Grand Diver range. I've never ever considered an automatic watch or the Invicta brand before but the stand out looks of this model caught my eye. Upon receiving and wearing this Grand Diver I was not disappointed with this timepiece, I just love the yellow coloured face dial and the smooth movement of the second hand, it's a chunky design which suits a real divers watch look and I also purchased when it was at a super low price! The 'Invicta' and 'Grand Diver' side case inscriptions plus the divers helmet branding on the face and stainless steel watch band makes this a stand out piece of timekeeping beauty, the price was a third cheaper than some of the bigger branded automatics so it wasn't too much of a hit to the wallet. The large diameter and height doesn't look out of place on my slim 7" sized wrist. Suprisingly it's very comfortable to wear and doesn't feel too heavy even after a long day of use. This divers watch is presented in a nice large yellow ripple shell padded case with warranty and instructions and it keeps an acceptable good time, the one I received gains a few seconds a day but I knew that automatics can either lose or gain time. If you don't wear the watch for more than two days then it will stop, so you do have to wind it a good 25 to 30 times with the crown unscrewed just to make it run for another day. I will never really use this watch for diving to three hundred metres, but for every day use it's a real 'looker' and I just love wearing it.

Best Invicta Watch
This is a quality time piece for the price. I've got a few Invicta Pro Divers but this is a level above. I'm a big guy with 8 inch wrists and this is perfect as it's very hefty. Great movement, beautiful looking and very solid.Very happy π

Imposing
This is a decent watch at the price point. Its big heavy and rather imposing . Colours are vibrant and it has good quality seiko movement driving it. Presently running fifteen seconds down over a twenty four hour period which isn't great but this dosent overly concern me. I have another in a different colour that only runs 6 seconds slow over the same period, very impressive for an automatic at this price so there can be variations on time keeping with the same movement.Invicta do court a lot of controversy with their hugely inflated RRPs and year long sales, not to mention questionable reliability. Nonetheless I have a few and never experienced any technical issues so far. The divers do appear quite well built with a decent movement .This is a good watch at the but not a great one. There are some great watches to be had at this price so this has to considered. However if you are intent on purchasing then I think you could do a whole lot worse than this monster.

Time on your hands
Great looking watch, but bigger thn expected as you can tell by pics along but amazing weight and the strap is solid lovely feel to the watch and very classy love the colour of the dial and feels so comfortable wearing had to take a couple of links out but that is only expected as wrists are different sizes, well worth the money
