DEWALT‎DW088K-XJ Self Levelling Cross Line Red Laser

I don't know why I haven't bought it years ago when i was a professional tiler, but even for dyier it is a must have. It's just an amazing and accurate tool from reputable brand. And most affordable too.

Promised myself one of these when I saw it being used on site, I also invested in the tripod and line detector. The Dewalt laser level is a breeze with the line detector it's super accurate and so easy to use, bathroom ceramic tiling, no more getting your steel level covered in adhesive, the laser line makes it so easy with its bright red laser lines fixing door lining, dado rails, stud work levelling kitchen cabinets everything is a breeze; I can't say enough good things about this if you're a small builder or a keen Diy enthusiast this makes the levelling side a breeze the tripod and line detector make this such a versatile tool Dewalt have done it again 12 out of 10.

Bit pricey for diyer but if you do lots of work that needs a level this great tool. Good if you need to make sure items are at same height but are some distance apart like shelves in alcoves or pictures around a room plus for upright when building stud walls etc . Very easy robust tool.Comes with clever magnetic fixing frame , however i have just clamped it to a door in a room and it can give you a line all around. It self levels and will warn if not level. I would avoid cheaper laser levels u may as well use spirit level

This is the second one I have brought for my Grandson as the first one was stolen of site and he misses it.So hopefully it won't be stolen and he can enjoy using this on as he did the first.

Purchased this to assist in setting out fencing, a new patio and our driveway, so all outdoor stuff. You do need the detector (which I had purchased at the same time) as the laser is all but invisible in reasonable daylight at any distance.With the detector, it is working brilliantly over 8m plus.One gripe, only a small one, for what I am using it for - it would be better if the horizontal laser and the "zero" point in the detector where at the same height - I.e. If you were to out both the laser and the detector on a flat, horizontal surface, it would detect at zero. Instead, there is about a 16mm offset, requiring a packer underneath the laser.That said, I would happily recommend this product.I have only played with it indoors, and I wish I had purchased this before I fitted my kitchen - it would have made setting everything out much quicker.

Never used or needed one until a few months ago when the lads at work whipped there's out at work for putting pipework up. Made levelling it up much quicker then using a spirit level just because of the long length of runs we do.I'm a keen photographer to so when I learned you could sit the level on a tripod, I was sold.Have used it at home to level radiator brackets and generally just play around with it. Very handy gadget to have at your disposal if needed. Initial cost is a bit expensive, but if I end up putting up 10 manifolds up level and saves 4 hrs work. It's paid for itself already.

Having used these for a few years already, it was about time I bought my own.As an electrician, I find that I use these lasers a lot. If you haven't used one and you're still struggling with chalk lines, then you're missing out!Mounting a room full of sockets? Set the laser up at your required height and you're set all round. Spot lights? Two measures and you've got a line running right through. Shop fitting? You'll use it for everything!The Dewalt model is well built to cope with the knocks it will no doubt receive on site or in the back of the van. The line is bright and true, which is something that can't be said for a lot of models out there. Battery life from the three AA batteries is surprisingly good. There is a 10.8v version of this available but for the price of AA batteries, you'd have to go through a lot of them to make the price difference worthwhile.The laser arrived in quick time, well packaged in it's own plastic carry case and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from these guys again.

Bought as a gift for my son who’s about to move into his first house. Very clever well made as you would expect from Dewalt. Double lazer for verticals and horizontal. He can’t wait to use it
