Does this base coat leave colour? Can you use it without additional nail polish?

This polish doesn’t leave any colour, and can be used without additional polish (in which case I personally use 2 coats). I’ve found this to be a really, really good “restorative” polish - I have possibly the WORST nails on the planet (peeling and soft yet, somehow, also able to chip by just looking at a hard object): this has made a big difference - and doesn’t peel off my nails the way many base coats do (I mean the ones that aren’t designed to! OPI Nail Envy is literally a peel off polish on my nails...) so my manicure lasts longer, too.

Can i use under gel polish

Technically, you could.  However this is a base coat nail strengthener so it sits on the nail rather than absorbing in and leaves the nail with a sheen.  If you apply gel on top your bonding the gel to the base coat and not the nail so your gel will only last as long as the base coat, so will chip and peel before the average 2 weeks of gels.  I use it when I'm giving my nails a break from gel and I can definatly see and improvement in the strength of my nails.  But it needs reapplication maybe once a week.  Best to use separately.
