Gourmet Easy Lifetime Replace Garlic Press, No Need to Peel, Coarse Mince

Before writing a review I wanted to actually try it out a few times and I gotta say that this actually works so well. Squishing garlic has never been any easier, you can fill it with more pieces than traditional ones, you don't need to peel the garlic and it will still do its job. Although not sharp the pressure applied by hand will mince out the pieces easily. It has a really nice design and the fact you can remove the pieces from eachother and split it in two to make scraping, cleaning and washing easier makes it so much more efficient. Grip of the handle is very ergonomic and the product feels nice and heavy and really sturdy. Definitely worth the price.

This garlic crusher is top quality build. It is quite heavy, consists of two parts, the garlic receiver and the handle/crusher which slot together simply and easily. I opted for the one with larger holes and was pleased I did as you need a strong wrist to squeeze it together. The result is great but it works better with fewer garlic bulbs. It is really comfortable to hold and operate and I am sure it will last a very long time.

The design is so simple yet so smart it's incredible. It looks good especially with the heart shaped holes. It can squeeze up to 3 mid-sized cloves. The "male" half can be used to scoop out leftovers from the "basket" (see their video). And it's soooo very easy to clean. I've had it for over a year now and I'm still amazed each time I use it. AMAAAAAZING!!!!

I've been cooking for 50 years. I like Asian and Mediterranean food, and that means garlic. I've owned maybe 20 garlic presses over the years. They are all either too small, bung up and are impossible to clean, or the press is a poor fit and fails to crush the clove, or they are badly made out of weak materials. I had pretty much given up when a year ago I spotted this one and put it in my basket. And didn't buy it because it was expensive. I carried on chopping garlic then pounding it in a pestle until a month ago. In a fit of madness I gave in and bought it. It is simply magnificent. It's actually designed and made by someone who knows what problems they are solving. And it does, and seems completely indestructible. Save yourself 50 years of trouble. This one works!

I've used this garlic crusher every day for over a year now and it's the best I've ever owned. Nor do I expect ever to have to replace it. This is a very simple design with just two parts formed from solid, polished stainless steel. Not only is there nothing to weaken or break but the crusher is well-designed, being ergonomic and stylish. The heart-shaped holes easily shred the garlic during crushing and the two parts clean easily under the tap. You definitely have to pay extra for quality and good design which is why this garlic crusher is priced higher than the cheaper designs on the market. It's definitely worth the price though and I expect it to last for many years to come. I'm very happy and I hope you will be too.

Excellent product

Initially impressed with the looks though increasingly became frustrated with it after a number of uses. I always found the garlic difficult to press through the holes with very little making it through at times. Leaving the skin tends to hinder the process of the crushed garlic exiting through. I was constantly digging out the remaining crushed clove from within before placing another one in to repeat the process. I have since given up using this tool and gone back to peeling the garlic by hand and dicing with a knife or crushing with a heavy blade or the like. I am sorry to say I did not get on with this and it now lays redundant in the kitchen drawer!!! Maybe I'm at fault but for me it was a waste of time, money and effort when my garlic preparation by hand worked OK before this purchase. (Update) Seller reached out to offer apologies regarding my somewhat unfortunate verdict. Cannot fault this action and shows how much attention and care they take regarding their customers and product reviews. Very impressed. This in itself deserves 5 stars. Thank you.

Unless you need a fine grade of garlic which really you could use this and then smush it afterwards. I replaced a really hard to clean plastic garlic press that was pointless using and I had to peel the garlic first. With this one it splits into two pieces so easy to clean and wash and even just rinse because let's face it garlic isn't too toxic. I use my press every time I cook from basics because stir-fry and curries all need a good garlic press. This is a perfect gift. There are so many rubbish garlic presses out there buy a decent one like this

Nunca tuve un machacador de ajos, porque no era de los que cocinaba mucho siempre iba a platos preparados. Pero ahora que cocino mas el tema de los ajos me fastidiaba cuando tenia que trabajar con ellos porque te huelen mucho las manos. Asi que finalmente lo cogi y aunque mas caro decidí coger este porque el diseño, y la forma desmontable me parecían muy versátiles comparados con otros modelos. Y efectivamente, es como sale en los videos, funciona muy bien y luego la limpieza es muy sencilla, además no tiene que tocar los ajos con las manos porque lo puedes hacer con sus mangos desmontables. El producto es de calidad en acero inoxidable. Vamos que es de por vida porque su diseño asi lo dice. Muy satisfecho con la compra.
