Excellent setup
I've been using this wheel and pedal setup for a week now (on iRacing) and I am quite happy with my purchase. Comparing it to my old wheel and pedal setup (a Thrustmaster set) it is much much better. The wheel on the Thrustmaster was spring loaded, always wanting to centre itself and the Logitech is not like that, happily. Also the leather bound wheel has a premium feel to it. I particularly like the gripper strip on the underside of the pedals, ensuring they don't move or slide during gameplay, although I'm not too sure how well this would work on a hard floor. My only slight niggle is that the force feedback side of things doesn't seem to be happening. I've check the options in iRacing and it is enabled there. So basically I was expecting the wheel to vibrate when you went over a rumble strip, for example. But this said I am still getting a lot of enjoyment out of this setup, so no real qualms over giving it 5-stars.

Amazing product
Amazing product! Would recommend as it is high quality, responsive. the cable length is amazing as well. Buttons are very responsive and quick to set up and very fun to use. You only have to put it on a desk and it is basically plug and play with this item. Only issue I seem to encounter is it is advertised for working with Mac. And it does work using all driving games. But Logitech G-HUB doesn’t work on Mac when it is advertised. So you can use either but that’s the only issue As it worked straight away with windows after trying all the time troubleshooting with Mac. Hopefully Logitech will start supporting Mac properly soon. You just won’t be able to change the angles from 900 degrees without using a windows laptop/ PC and other settings customising your wheel.

true review
G29 FOR PS4 REVIEW there are a lot of bad reviews out there generally because there is not much of a change from the G27 but what else do you want them to do with it they've added all the new buttons so you can access every aspect of your Ps4 straight from the wheel, The brake pedal has an integrated rubber damper that compresses and delivers increasingly higher resistance over a short throw distance to give a realistic break feel, has excellent realistic force feedback and the wheel is designed beautifully. The only bad thing i could say bad about the G29 is not being compatible for a couple of games like The Crew although it may not be issues related to the G29 wheel itself i personally think that Logitech should be pushing the likes of Ubisoft to making the G29 compatible with all racing games as an answer of "the compatibility of the wheel is up to the the developers we have supplied all information to Playstation for compatibility" to the question "why a wheel is not compatible with a game?" is unacceptable. If a game is compatible with wheels Logitech should be doing everything they can to make sure there wheel works and if there are issues that are not at there end they should be chasing the developers to update and make the G29 compatible as fast as possible . Over all review - 4/5 stars Great wheel, realistic feel, looks good and well made. A great purchase fantastic wheel highly recommended only downfall not being compatible with a couple of games but I'm sure these issues will not occur with future racing games i gave full 5/5 stars to help the amazon general average star rating as it dose not deserve to be that low only reason i drop my real overall rating to 4/5 stars is because of the compatibility

Not for me
No I'm sending it back as I cannot get on with it at all, I've tried adjusting the setting I've tried using AI to get setting that will work for me, But nothing works I'm still at least 10 seconds behind my controller lap times.

The King of Entry-Level Sim Racing
I've had my eye on the Logitech G29 for a while, and with the recent price drop to £169.39, it was the perfect time to get one. It's a huge step up from the cheap budget wheels and honestly, for the money, you can't really do much better. It's built like a tank with a solid steel construction and a nice hand-stitched leather steering wheel cover which feels great in your hands. The stainless steel paddle shifters are a nice touch too and they feel really responsive. The force feedback is the main thing here, and it's brilliant. It uses helical gearing which makes it pretty smooth and quiet, unlike some of the older wheels with their clunky gears. The wheel has a 900-degree lock-to-lock rotation, so you can really get a feel for the car on those big wide turns, just like you would in a real car. The pedals are also a big improvement over other brands in this price bracket. It's a full three-pedal set with throttle, brake, and a clutch, which is brilliant if you want to use the optional shifter for more realism. They're pressure sensitive and the brake pedal has a really nice, firm feel to it which helps with precision braking. The force feedback is strong but it's probably not as subtle or as detailed as some of the more expensive direct drive wheels you can get now. Those wheels are in a totally different league price-wise though, so that's not realy a fair comparison. For the price, you get a solid, reliable wheel that will last you for ages and give you a great introduction to sim racing. It's a huge improvement over using a standard controller. Logitech says that a lot of the plastic parts are made from 52% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, which is a nice little bonus and good to know they're thinking about sustainability.

Should have bought a wheel years ago!
As a long time player of arcade-sim games like Forza and Gran Turismo, I would put hours and hours of play in (using a standard console controller) and have a great time. A friend of mine, who is into proper sim racing on iRacing had this wheel and was always nagging me to take the leap to a proper wheel and pedal set up. I got this on Prime Day, along with a foldable Playseat branded chair and wow! This is so much fun. Not only that, my driving instantly got better, it is so also much more easy to drive with no assists on, because you get so much more feedback from the car. I should have gotten this years ago. As for this actual wheel. The materials are all great quality for the price. The pedals feel firm, the wheel has a nice grip to it, the buttons are OK (but not up to the standard of console controllers). It is missing a secondary stick, which means that you lose camera controls in games, meaning you have to rely on proximity indicators in games. The force feedback isn’t particularly direct, but it is still very good. Although I haven’t tried many wheels out, I feel quite comfortable saying that this is a sweet spot for “bang for your buck” and that the newer version of this wheel doesn’t add enough to be worth the extra money over this one. PS I’d recommend watching the YouTube video from Linus Tech Tips in Nov 2023 called “Don’t waste your money - $30 vs $10,000 racing setup” for more info.
