Product was just as described good quality foams at a good price, the pads are easily rinsed and offer good filtration

I've been ordering these foams for a number of years, replacing every 2 years. Sometimes the foams supplied are very good at almost 2 inches thick, whereas other times they are barely 1 inch. I tend to double up on the top (coarse) layer, by keeping the old foam. My latest order was from 'Heritage Pet Supplies' and fulfilled by Amazon. Quality was very poor and thin. They began falling apart within 6 months!

Easey to cut to size.

This is the third set I have purchased in the last 2 1/2 years, they are good quality pads but about 1/2 the thickness as they were when I first got them.

These foam sets are a great buy and work just as efficiently as the original manufacturers supplied foams ! I have cut to size and installed these in both Oase pressure filters and Hozelock Bioforce models !They are easily cut to size and shape and anyone with an Oase filter will have to have two extra holes made to allow the two "Cleaning handle rods" to pass through the filter foam !Don't worry about trying to cut holes to fit the rods , just make a " star cut " with a craft knife and that takes care of locatiing the cleaning handle rods !Use an old filter as a template and sharp scissors to cut the foams to the outer circular shape , and even though the foams are slightly thinner than the originals .... the "egg box " surface area performs well in trapping the " gunge " and an added finer foam "either the blue or white " sheets , will trap any smaller particles that may pass through the coarse foam !A good product and well worth considering !

Very flimsy.These would not be washable, I am sure they'll fall apart.I was planning to use in my expensive filter, I have decided not to in case these break up and damage the pump impeller.I ended up using as a base in a Bio Orb... For that they're perfectly fine
