I recently purchased the Acana Sachet Moth Killer 20 Pack for Drawers & Storage to combat moth infestations in my home. While I initially placed the sachets on the carpets under my beds and sofa, I am still unsure about their overall effectiveness. The convenience of the 20-pack allowed me to cover multiple areas in my home, and I appreciate the ease of use. The sachets have a pleasant fragrance and do not leave any stains or residue behind, which is a definite plus. However, in terms of effectiveness, I am yet to see the desired results. While the sachets are designed for use in drawers and storage areas, I took a proactive approach by placing them on the carpets underneath my beds and sofa to combat moths. Unfortunately, I have not noticed a significant reduction in moth activity as of yet. I understand that it may take some time for the sachets to fully take effect, and I am still assessing their overall effectiveness. Obviously every situation and infestation may vary, and what works for one person may not work for another.

Handy sachets to deter moths, easy to put around the house. Seem effective!

I stupidly (in hindsight) bought a pure, untreated wool carpet in the Autumn. Roll on the Spring and tiny white paper like cases were around the edges of the carpet. On closer inspection we could see where the moths were eating and the deep pile was now threadbare. Lesson learned for carpet buying but in the meantime evasive action was needed to save the current carpet. I bought these sachets and a moth carpet spray. The sachets are easy to use and can be placed straight on the carpet around the edges. They are small enough to be placed out of sight behind furniture but big enough not to go up the vacuum. Their smell is not unpleasant - a bit like synthetic lavender but this dissipates fairly quickly although to be honest I wouldn’t like the smell in my clothes drawers. The indicator to say when they need replacing is useful and unlike other reviewers I haven’t had any dud ones. I found them to be very effective in getting rid of the moths and I am now preemptive in replacing them well before the Spring starts. In fact that reminds me - time to put down a new set!

The moth killer packaging is white plastic with foil over a thin film, which can be difficult to separate at times. The moth poison in itself looks like a slim encapsulated pad. It is purple and has a strong scent of lavender on opening, but it does not last. I guess it is like any fragrance you get used to it. There is an END showing, but in my experience, it has stopped working by the time these words penetrates slightly, and not by the time it is visible written, as suggested in the product information. I have tried different ones, and still not find any product that is great, so for now I have stuck to these, as I like the size and easy to hide amongst clothes, behind sofa, etc. On changing these I do not see any moths, but this could be a coincidence, but soon after they are back... so does it really work, I do not know, and I use a lot of them around my house, and keep buying more to top them up...

I have been using these tablets for moths for yrs now. I have a divan bed and I slide a few down each side and bottom of bed as I once had carpet moths. This method seems to be working. I also put them top and bottom of wardrobe. Very fast delivery

These Acana moth sachets are convenient and easy to use placed individually into drawers & wardrobes. For items of clothing which are normally stored in hanging bags pop one of these in the bottom of each bag, especially good for winter clothes stored over the summer. Only downside, last year when I bought them there were 20 in a packet this has now been reduced to 16 per packet. Shrinkflation.

I bought these in the U.K. and was sad when I could no longer pick up. Excited to find on Amazon. I place these in my cashmere summer storage- never had a moth problem. Winter - goes into my sweater draw, the best!!!
