I recently purchased the TP-Link 150 Mbps Wireless Nano USB Adapter, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. Firstly, the compact size is a major plus. Purchased to provide more stable WiFi on a HP laptop. The built in WiFi was showing signs of age with loss of signal several times a day. It appears this is not unusual for HP laptops. Set up of the dongle was easy. Simply plugged into a spare USB port (in our case we plugged into a USB splitter hub). Windows detected the on board software for the driver immediately and it was installed in a couple of minutes. I used windows 11 device manager to deactivate the on board adapter to ensure Windows would always use the new dongle. We’ve used the dongle for over 24 hours with no WiFi drop out which was happening several times a day. A speed check test showed 280 mb/s which was slightly better than previous. This morning Windows 11 update automatically installed an update for the driver successfully. Overall a good solution to loss of WiFi on a HP laptop.

This product has been a game changer for me! I have super fast BT fiber optic broadband in the house but my laptop never got any where near the high speeds it should. I work from home and make calls through my laptop and always had issues with calls dropping out or a really bad line, my CRM system was always slow. I found this product after doing a lot of research on increasing my internet - I did all the things suggested on my laptop but nothing worked until I bought this. It's brilliant my speed has gone from around 26 to nearly 200!! My phone calls are crystal clear, no drop outs no bad lines and my laptop is now super quick on all applications using internet. It's a game changer would definitely recommend. I did have an issue setting it up as it was not recognising the device. I contacted TP and was advised to put my laptop next to the modem and try again and it worked. Their Customer Service via chat was very good as well This was worth every penny and made my working day that much better!!

Great WiFi 6 usb dongle my pc speed was 230mbs with internal Wi-Fi adaptor changed to this usb WiFi and got speeds of 810mbs very pleased

Unfortunately the adapter (mostly likely the driver) is faulty. I replaced my original one, assuming it was a singular faulty unit, but my replacement had the same issue - massive ping spikes and connectivity drops. For everyday browsing, this adapter has great speeds (800mb/s+ out of a possible 1gb/s) but for gaming, streaming or any other ping- or connectivity-reliant task it fails. It will randomly spike up to 200-500ms ping times, usually 2-3 times in a ten minute period. Occasionally, the ping delay is so long that the connection drops entirely for 3-4 seconds, making it unusable for anything but downloads and browsing. No other adapter I've used has had this issue. TP-link's support person was as helpful as they could be, asked for logs, etc. but ultimately couldn't actually fix the issue as it's on their end. The cherry on top is that 4-5 months after purchasing, it simply stopped working. The light won't come on and it isn't detected by my PC. Overall a massive disappointment as if it had worked, it would've been perfect - especially for the price. Can not recommend. I am currently using a slower TP-link nano which has been great, but I will be looking elsewhere for a faster adapter

Super easy to install (just make sure you use a USB 3.0 port) Great value for money. Product is sturdy with an adjustable antenna for great signal strength. Edit: I had to return this as it randomly started disconnecting me…

Worked with my linux machine. No setup or packages required. Just plug in.

Very happy that this works with linux kernel out of the box, unfortunately internet speeds aren't great, but perhaps that is understandable for the small size.
