Excellent to have in the cupboard!
Got this from a store some time ago and had not used too much of it. A little goes a long way!Now to people saying "wahh it doesn't taste like freshly grated wasabi!" yeah well duh it is powder and cheap. What on earth did you expect? If you can afford the fresh stuff then go buy that. For nomals, it is fantastic. I love this better than other brands because it doesn't have the weird after taste some of them do. Like an eggy taste? This does NOT have that. It has a good amount of heat that at times makes you regret your decision to eating this and is that not what we all strive for?It haven't made sushi in a while but this has been in the cupboard a year and the little tin is just like a paint tin! You push it back into place and it is nicely sealed.I saw a moronic comment on here saying "it's too watery!" ... you control how much water goes in it lol it is a powder. I enjoy mine a lil drier that other people... so I add water incrementally till I like the consistency. It will absorb some extra when rehydrating but very small amount. If you love sushi, you are a normal person and ain't too fancy, get it!

Arrived on time, and I did indeed get wasabi
It arrived on time and as you expect from an Amazon delivery all good on that side. It’s a powder in a tin.At first I must say the tin was quite a bit smaller than expected and that when I made the wasabi it isn’t as nice as I thought it would be tasting. It seems to taste just a little bit bitter than expected. I’ve used it once and perhaps it will come out of the cupboard when I’ve run out of shop bought wasabi paste. Sorry to the seller, just it’s not for me.

Tastes absolutely nothing like wasabi
I purchased this product to sprinkle on home made crisps but was thoroughly disappointed and unable to return it! If I'd brought it at a supermarket they would have taken it back, but supermarket versions have 5% wasabi and this has a measily 2%If I'd wanted horseradish powder then this could have just passed for that, but NOT wasabi.Waste of money and waste of truck driver fuel delivering such a terrible product.

Really, Wasabi?
Not even close to what it should be. Saw dust springs to mind, not at all what wasabi should be.

It’ll do
Not much choice in the gluten-free wasabi stakes, so this is what we end up buying. Unfortunately it doesn’t pack much of a punch so you need to use a LOT.

Not like proper Wasabi
Useless, is not even warm. Also very watery when mixed.

The complaint would have been better if it has state "only 2% wasabi"
OK you get what you pay for. The reason this Wasabi powder is so much cheaper is that it has tapioca starch in it and is only 2% actual wasabi. I read a review that complained it was 76% horseradish so assumed the Wasabi content was reasonably high. The complaint would have been better if it has state "only 2% wasabi". So, the only one to buy is still Clear Spring. The organic version has 10% Wasabi which is higher than any other Wasabi product I can find. Next time I'll pay up and look happy. I haven't used it yet and assume it will taste OK but...........

Tame
I would give this wasabi to children, it's so tame. I guess it's like a learner wasabi, before the proper wasabi (ie not this) comes along to explode all that hotness into your sinuses.
