POWERTEC 10 FT. x 1-1/4" OD Shop Vacuum Hose Kit (70347)

I really don’t understand the negative reviews for this product. I needed a longer hose for my Craftsman shop vac to enable easier connection to my power tools. These include a track saw, routers, sanders, etc. The hose is basically a hose and the various fittings supplied enabled me to make good connections to several different brands of tool. These include swivels on the connectors, which were a massive bonus to prevent the hose snagging. For the money, this kit did everything I expected of it, with a few additional features. The hose is very slightly smaller in diameter than the original, but the suction is not adversely affected. It actually gives more manoeuvrability and less restriction. An excellent buy in my humble opinion.

I needed a hose and with adapters to connect my sander and saw to a wet/dry vacuum. I decided to buy this one because it came with multiple adapters. Now right off the bat the adapters didn't fit my particular sander. But the awesome thing about these adapters that come supplied is that they're made of tuff rubber that can be molded. I found the closest adapter that fit over the sander's connecter port and using a heat gun I softened the rubber adapter and pressed it over adapter connecter. I left the adapter connected until it cooled and it molded perfectly over the sander's connecter and kept its shape. It's an air tight snug fit that stays on with friction making it easy to swap tools. No need for clamps.of any kind. I highly recommend this product. It should last a long time.

Overall, not a bad deal for the price. I just wish the hose was a little more flexible and that the one of port adapters was a bit larger. Works just fine, though.

Compatible and works well with my craftsman shop vac. Easy to attach and durable enough that it does not collapse under the suction from the vacuum. It’s obviously flexible, but it does have a “memory” to it. When you uncoil it, it wants to go right back to its coiled state which can be distracting. Overall well worth the price and I don’t think anything can be done about the coiling of the hose except heavy use. So far it has held up with my 20 gallon shop vac. It does come with different attachments / adapters ensuring a good fit and seal for proper cleaning.

Nothing in this kit fits my dewalt tools (orbital sander, 8 1/4 table saw and miter saw). Everything seems to be ok quality, it just doesn't work for my tools.

Based on reviews I thought this would work and was excited to replace the horrible hose that came with it. Unfortunately, that was not to be. I would have loved the extra length, but here is what is wrong with it. 1. the adaptors, none of them will work, the smallest is too small and does not seal at the intake port. It is also too short, which combined with the looseness of the fit, means it will detach with the littlest tug, which, if you use a vacuum, you know is one of the levels of hell meant to torment you eternally. 2. The hose is only slightly more flexible than the original, which is to say it has all the flexibility of a brick. The extra length this hose offers makes up for that a bit I guess, but it is not as flexible as the ones for larger vacs. So there you have it, not for the HD Buckethead, the search continues . . .

This is a must-have for home projects. It keeps my house clean and dust-free! It attaches to my Ryobi sander. It is sturdy and easy to use.

Good Purchase and Delivery

This Vacuum pipe was the correct size with one screw fitting to fit my Enthell router. This new pipe was fitted to my original vacuum system. A pity it had to come all the way from the US . If you want some quick, do not buy this, it took about 8 days.

This vac hose works perfectly for my 4 gallon shop vac . Delivery was awesome right to our front door, and we live on a rural property, so thanks Amazon for finding our house .

Exactly what I was needing.
