Well, canestan is the leading brand for these symptoms. So yes, it's a super effective treatment.In terms of the seller, I've ordered twice with no issue. One was received a little crushed (the box) but all was intact.Im convinced there are people in these reviews using this wrong. Honestly you can take a horse to water you know....Its a tear drop pessary, the tip goes into the short adjustable end of the white tube. Take your time, get into a comfy led down position, legs up. Keep taking nice deep breaths and gently push on each out breath. Ensure it is nice and high up. If the positioning isn't correct you run the risk of inefficiency of the product.You'll know your correct when you push the plunger and the tube trys to force outwards.... Its inevitably high enough.You will have white chalky knickers so always worth getting panty liners but also.... It does stain or anything so it really is what makes you comfortable. Also, doing at night time is preferable because of this. (Still can't kept the chalkiness for a couple days as the medication works its way down) - DO NOT us a tampon, ive heard of women doing this and like.. What!? Don't soak up the medication girlies.Thrush is SO uncomfortable, I feel for you babes! Just buy the thing and get it in!I dont really use the creams as generally don't like putting creams down there BUT I have to say, it's a nice cream, does soothe for sure. ESPECIALLY if it's graduated to itchy/sore town. It's not effective in treating the symptoms though, so no point in using the cream in isolation / on its own.THE RELIEF!!!

I'd seen recommendations for Fluconazole for thrush so I tried it, but it unfortunately made no difference. I wish I'd just used this pessary to begin with as it cleared my symptoms up in less than 24hrs. What I will say though, is the cream is rubbish - use Vagisil instead for instant relief

After 5 weeks of thrush (for the first time) I cannot tell you how amazing this is. Believe me I've tried everything over the counter as appointments with my GP are just about non existent. I tried caneston duo creams and intimate wash. I tried oral medication. The combination that worked for me was caneston pessary, vagisil intimate wash and vagisil cream. I cannot tell you ladies what a relief it is to not be itching....OMG. I found the pessary easy to use if you follow the instructions. I used it at 8 p.m. last night and the relief today is incredible. Honestly ladies if you are suffering like I did, wait no longer. Take the plunge it's worth it

Insert the soft gel pessary into the vagina preferably at night using the applicator provided and apply the cream thinly to the affected area 2-3 times a day.
