Deep Heat Muscle Massage Roll-on Lotion, Ease Tight Muscles, 50ml (Pack of 1)

Bought this as I needed some Deep Heat following a car accident and getting a bit fed up on relying on a hot water bottle. I've also found the cream tubes for Deep Heat tend to break and leak a little, so this is perfect for anyone on the move or who doesn't like to get their hands covered in the cream. Initially I rollered this on the problem areas and didn't feel much (in comparison to the standard Deep Heat). However... about 5-10 minutes later and honestly my skin is on fire! Incredibly effective - pain has gone (likely albeit temporarily). I would say it's as hot on the skin as a fresh hot water bottle without the cover on. Definitely not for the weak, but very much worth it.

It's about size of deodorant roll on I guess. The roll on is nice but wish the ball was less chilly. I rolled it on my hip before I moved it to my back to warm up slightly. I usually have no issue with the cream stuff, i hardly feel the heat unlike my mum who needs to mix it with body lotion to use. (I'm tough). I rolled this on my arm to test it and thought its weak so I proceeded to test roll it on tummy, hip, back and on my hands to test out smell. After minute or two no heat so thought better give my amazon review. This stuff takes about 5 mins to heat, at this very moment I'm sitting in bed feeling like the left side of me is resting on a boiling hot water bottle. some seems to have got on a bosom 😨. This stuff is very hot so don't rub it all over like i did. Plus side is..... I can't feel my backpain through the heat..so In my mind it works. The smell is much nicer than normal deep heat I could easily use this at work or wherever and no one would know i am using it. Roll on is very handy and I won't struggle with squeezing tiny bits out of a tube again! Btw...it's still feeling very hot. The smell needs one slight improvement, it needs just one more fragrance to blend the vanilla and rosemary. Every now and again I get a memory of Sunday dinner...roast potatoes in rosemary and afters of custard. Im Sure that memory will disappear when I get used to it. In fact a spray of perfume should sort that out. Just thinking it was lucky I didn't roll this on my face to test heat.

They used to do the aerosol deep heat that I very much preferred but have since moved to a different version that was horrible and stain my bathroom sink where I kept it. This however is so easy to used. It’s like a cream roll on. It’s convenient as you can pop in a bag and use it anywhere. I actually suffer with IBS and using this can help to relax cramps. Because it’s a roll on I can use it whenever and wherever - it does have some smell to it but not as strong as the cream or spray. It’s also less messy as you don’t need to wash your hands after using it (like you do with cream) I do wish it was a little stronger and last longer. But for the price it’s good.

Use this every night. I have restless legs. I roll all over both calf’s and it really helps doesn’t take it away completely but so much more bearable

I'm a woman of a certain age, and everything hurts. That was where I was at when I realised that not only was the injury I sustained from sitting next to a man-spreading git at a comedy gig a couple of weeks ago not getting any better, but I had nothing to put on it to make it feel temporarily a bit nicer. I had run out of Deep Heat Muscle Massage Roll On. I kid you not, I am of an age that merely 'sitting a bit funny' can result in the sort of painful tendon/ligament injury that renders me unable to walk up steps without wincing, and makes the gym impossible. There was nothing else for it, I had to order some more of this product PDQ. Thankfully, my amazing Amazon Prime account allowed for delivery on the same day as I ordered, so my aching joints could get their blessed relief. I tore off the cardboard with abandon when the package arrived, eager to roll on a bit of the good stuff. I quickly applied the warming gel/lotion to my hip area, and added some to my shoulders for good measure as I'd been hunched over a desk all day on a mission to get all of my work up to date before some well-deserved time off coming up a few days later. Immediately, the tingling sensation hit me, soothing the aching neck first and then starting to take effect on my hip. The feeling was pleasant, the heat not too hot, and just a little bit tingly. Sadly, after about 30 minutes, the relief had begun to wear off and I started to feel like the menopausal middle-aged old crone that I am. But for those brief 30 minutes. I felt the gentle, soothing warmth of a Deep Heat hug, and for that, I am grateful. Yes, I am available for ad copywriting :-)

I had high hopes for this roll-on, as I thought it would be much more convenient than the gel tube. Being able to simply roll it onto the affected area without getting the product all over my hands and avoiding the lingering smell on them afterwards seemed like a great idea. The warming sensation is to be expected from a heat-based product that's designed to penetrate deeply into the skin and target sore muscles. However, what I wasn't prepared for was the intense itching that accompanied it. Shortly after applying it, my skin became extremely itchy. The sensation was very uncomfortable and difficult to ignore. It would also come and go so you'd think you're over the worst of it then it would start making you itch again! While everyone reacts differently to topical products, I think it's worth being aware that this may cause significant itching for some people.

Bought this for easing my menstrual cramps and i'm in awe of how quickly it heats up. The heat stings a little but is effective. Definitely recommend doing a skin test first to see how you tolerate the heat.
