TLDR: Nice bulbs. One out of two didn't fit properly in my car due to the manufacturing of the side LEDs, and now I've lost it in the lamp unit.I bought 2 of these as side lights for a Skoda Superb II. One of my side light bulbs had died so I tried these.They are brighter than my old "yellow" bulbs.As you can see in the product image they have yellow LED lights on the *side* of the bulb as well as forward facing. There are 3 of these side spots equally spaced around it. These side LEDs are designed to be flush with the silver barrel of the bulb - but are not necessarily quite perfectly flush. In my specific case this was an issue.On the Superb, the push fitting for side light bulbs is really tight anyway and these LED ones were a very snug fit through the "tunnel" from the back to the front of the lamp unit. The first bulb fitted fine (but didn't protrude far enough for 2 of the 3 side LEDs to be much use.The second bulb was a real struggle to fit through the socket, and I realised this was because one of the side LEDs was manufactured protruding about 0.5mm from the bulb side. Not a problem I thought and just shoved it in tight. However it wasn't lined up correctly so I gave it another shove... and it suddenly pinged straight through and into the sealed light unit! No chance of getting that back without removing the entire light fitting :( I managed to wiggle the back of the lamp unit enough so it dropped below - it is now somewhere in the engine compartment, probably never to be seen again.So for any other fitting - a nice bright quality light as other reviews have pointed out. But be aware if you have a similar type fitting to me that it *might* not go smoothly.

These are very bright, but be aware they are LARGE. This does mean they WILL NOT fit into standard 501/T10 hole. So if you're intending to use these as side lights on most normal cars you're going to struggle because the board is too wideI was in the process of sending them back to Amazon, when I was replacing the rear brake light lense and spotted that on a Freelander 2, the bulb is held back from the plastic and you could use one of these bulbs in the connector.If you're right on space (side to side) look up ASIN B06X19TLS9 as those worked well, but again will be too long to fit say in a side repeater.Hope that helps!Update: They can't be that bad, I just bought a second set. Just make sure they fit.

First off they look great seem very substantial and are very bright extremely white light in fact there as bright as my head lamps! 100% better than the cheaper Chinese ones I've had before that are usually £1.50 and have that annoying blue tint, the only reason I didn't give them five stars was the fact there BIGGER than a normal 501 bulb I had to trim a bit of plastic off my bulb holder to get them to go in not a problem to me but if your not a handy kind of individual you could have problem there, but apart from that little niggle once they were fitted there bang on I'm most pleased. Not all bulb holders are the same I've fitted them in a Toyota a different make may be more accommodating so don't let this put you off the little bit of fiddling was worth the effort

So far so good. I had LED bulbs before and they caused nothing but problems such as flickering and once they even caught on fire! But these bulbs seem to be made with much better quality and have a metal curved surround which keeps the bulbs well fitted. Really bright chrisp white lightSo easy to install just took out the old factory bulbs and placed these ones in.The instructions said to turn the bulb 180 if they dont work first time - and thats what i Did and then they worked fineBasically 180 means turn them around

I ordered these to see if i could fit them as boot lights. Sadly a mm too long. The bulbs themselves are very bright, only put them where they can't be seen directly as it affect your eyesight. The high brightness means higher power consumption, so the bulbs get very hot - don't recommend putting them anywhere without good ventilation as it will affect their life.

Bought these bulbs on the trust of another review from a bmw e90 owner saying they fitted in the sidelight however they do not fit in the headlight hole!Did fit to to reverse lights and are very bright but not where I wanted to put them still 4 stars.

The Bulbs themselves are great, but they are much bigger than they look. On my Ford Focus ST 2007, they would not fit in the light holder, I have had to refund these and buy some smaller 501 bulbs. If the holder is tight on yours double check the size of the LEDs before buying these.

The product is great quality and emits bright light, however keep in mind that the top part of it is a lot wider than the the base and it means that is is also wider than the standard bulb. It didn’t fit on my Octavia as the opening for the build is a lot narrower
