Great Product for disinfecting our red squirrel feeders
We're lucky enough to live in an area where there are still native red squirrels so feel obliged to protect themWe have 6 red squirrel feeders which we daily disinfect using a Virkon s tablet mixed with about a pint of cold water in a hand sprayWe have been feeding our reds for over 40 years. Unfortunately, grey squirrels started turning up about 5 years ago bringing with them squirrel pox which completely wiped out our little colony of around 30 redsabout 80% of grey squirrels carry squirrel pox which they are unaffected by, but which causes a very slow painful death to our native redsBy controlling any invasive grey squirrels and keeping our feeders disinfected with Virkon S the number of red squirrels has built back up again but will probably never reach their former levelsControlling grey squirrels and keeping the feeders regularly disinfected with Virkon S is absolutely vital to the survival of our native red squirrels

Peace of mind
Use this to clean our outside aviary, either as a 1% mix for a weekly spray, or an occasional 2% spray (just to make sure we've got everything). Can only trust it's doing its thing and it gives us peace of mind.Give the tablets a stir and a little while to dissolve as it's not super quick and is difficult to see in an opaque spray bottle (probably need to get a clear one!).

With the virus going on...this is the chemical for cleaning I need to help me make sure that my family will have less risk of acquiring the virus. I use it anywhere and anytime like a disinfectant.

fantastic product for keeping feeders and waterers clean and hygenic ...
we keep a medium size flock of hens and these tablets are very handy for dosing buckets to clean the coops and nest boxes and also floor areas too (concrete), fantastic product for keeping feeders and waterers clean and hygenic too
