I can hear!
I have had this for 3 weeks now and all I can say is my life has changed! I have been to hearing tests at hospital and put on waiting lists for hearing aids and still haven't got any further after 2 and a half years. It has been affecting my work as I couldn't hear my colleagues. Affecting my home life having to put the TV up at 21 volume to hear clearly. Finally with only one of these in my left ear to start off with. I can hear colleagues at work and socialise with them more. I only need to put the TV to 14 volume now and can hear it with ease. I thought I'd have to spend £1000's on hearing aids and couldn't afford it but this has honestly transformed my life and I'm only 46 years old! I am actually going to buy another one as back up as I'm so happy with it. We are all different though and this is just my humble opinion but I felt I had to share it. xx

Works well. With caveats
Delivered yesterday for use by my 89 year old mother in law.Charged up first which took 4 hours. Just like charging a mobile phone.Fitted to her ear which she is severely deaf in. It comes with different soft rubber cones to fit different sized ears. She chose a small size rubber cone which fitted her well.Adjusted the volume and verdict is ??She likes it. Says she can hear out of that ear again. She turned her TV volume down whilst testing it out.This product is a tiny fraction of the price quoted by a famous High St chemist which was just under two thousand pounds.We recommend this with these caveats we have:Will update this review once she has been using it for a few weeks with regards to the normal every day usage. How long it lasts on one charge. How comfy it is to wear for long periods of time.Also will update on reliability and If it continues to work or not.

Uncomfortable and echoes when it noisy
It's great for one to one, listening to TV etc but not great when in company of more than 2 or in noisy environment as it echoes

DO NOT WORK AFTER 3 MONTHS
Used these for 3 months and now they're useless,won't charge so too late for refund,not happy total waste of money

Very pleased with them works better than my nhs hearing aid.

Not a substitute
I was skeptical about other reviews saying they whistled...but they really do. Squeaks, whistles, feedback....all the problems others have mentioned. Although they do amplify sound the distortion and noises mean they are almost unusable. a back up only for the desperate. Save your money and get proper hearing aids...these don't cut the mustard.
