Excellent Rechargeable Batteries
I've been purchasing rechargeable batteries for years now. I have a man drawer with a few spares in that have been charged up so I always have some handy when I need them. Unlike non-rechargeable batteries I find that you don't get much warning with Ni-MH ones before they are nearly completely depleted so it's a good idea to have a few pre-charged ones spare. Despite lots of devices using Li-Ion batteries these days I've actually found that the number of devices around the house that require AA batteries has increased. Things like digital cameras, remote controls, wireless computer keyboards, wireless mice, console joypads, Oculus Rift/Quest VR controllers, children's toys and even electronic doorbells, to name a few, all still seem to require them. The nice thing about these batteries is that they arrive pre-charged (with solar energy!) so they don't require charging (although I suspect they will not be charged to 100%). They also claim to retain 85% of their change after 12 months if they are not used which is great news for the ones that I have stored in the man drawer. These can also be recharged up to 500 times... if that's true then these are going to last a long time! Of course it will be difficult to verify these claims for a while but if they fail to live up to expectations then I will update my review. These seem to be genuine batteries and look like the real thing and I've had no issues with the ones I've used so far. Pros: - Good value compared to regular non-rechargeable batteries - Slightly higher spec than the 2500mAh Duracell batteries - 2500mAh so should be good for more demanding devices - Batteries come pre-charged (although unlikely to be 100% charged) - Hold their charge when not in use (i.e. 85% of charge after 1 year) - Can potentially be recharged up to 500 times - Better for environment than non rechargeable batteries as you are reusing them repeatedly as opposed to disposing of them (batteries are full of harmful chemicals and heavy metals). These are also pre-charged using Solar energy which is much greener. Cons: - Perhaps a little expensive when compared to non-rechargeable batteries but they really do pay for themselves after a few charges. - You get very little warning when the batteries are running out of charge. Always a good idea to have some on standby. Neutral: - As with any rechargeable batteries they require time to recharge

Worth having to save money and materials in the long run
Rechargeable batteries like these are well worth the initial outlay as they can be used over and over again over a number of years, thus saving money on single use equivalents and avoiding the consumption of all the raw materials used in their manufacture.

Great rechargeable batteries
These are my go to rechargeable batteries. Yes they are more expensive but they work fantastic, hold a for charge longer and last when in use. I use them in all my equipment that requires batteries for portable use such as my 404mk2 and portable recording equipment.

Eneloop batteries are the best on the market
These are nickle-metal-hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries which produce 1.2A of power. Eneloop batteries are designed to have a very low self-discharge. Older rechargeable batteries will self-discharge about 20% on the first day and about 5% per day after that. Eneloops still retain 80% of their charge after a year. They're great for LED torches, cameras and digital radios. Eneloops also have a higher capacity (measured in mAh) than many non-rechargeable batteries. The fact that they last longer and can be recharged makes them the best batteries on the market. They're Japanese and their quality is second to none. There are two main types of Eneloop battery - the black-coloured ones have a higher mAh capacity but will take fewer recharge cycles (~500), whilst the white-coloured ones have a lower mAh capacity but will take more recharge cycles (~2000). For example, people who work in the emergency services will probably want a higher mAh capacity so that their LED torches will last longer, and people who play video games will want higher mAh for their wireless controllers. The lower mAh capacity are more suited for cordless phones, TV remotes, or for people who don't use their torch or radio every day - e.g.,an emergency torch stored in a vehicle, kitchen or bedroom. In practical use, the black-coloured Eneloops last about 35%-40% longer between charges than the white-coloured Eneloops, but the white ones can be recharged 4 times more. Obviously you also need a good quality charger to get the most out of these batteries. There are a lot of different chargers on the market so shop around. Eneloop even sell a charger with batteries included. Personally I use the Ansmann 16+ charger - it's expensive, but probably the best there is. It's also huge! (Ansmann make smaller 8+ and 4+ versions.) The XTAR VC4 is also quite good and the Nitecore chargers work well too.

Good quality rechargeable batteries
I bought a set of these a while back and am pleased with them, although I'm not sure how much more charge they really provide over the standard ones. I have a hunch that one of them my be underperforming as the unit they're used in fades a bit quicker thn expected sometimes, but other than that they've been fine. I also have the standard Eneloops and think they're great after several years of use (although I note that the prices have rocketed in recent years).

Always good and easy
I’ve bought many packs over the years and have never had any issues. They are not quite as powerful as disposable batteries but they don’t take long to charge and last long enough. We use them 100% of the time now so consider the value very good in the long run.

Incredibly powerful extreen long lasting ..best I've ever bought
I've had these 4 years, I bought two sets for my audio analyser equipment... I didn't realise that my the analyser requires 1.5v batteries until id been using them for around 1 year, I took meter for calibration and they gave me a set of 1.5 volt batteries, I called and explained id been using these for a year and as these are 1.4v I didn't realise they should be 1.5v. ..the guys calibrating could not believe this as normal Duracell 1.4 last just a few hours, I explained these past a good two days testing and they said this is amazing... I have now had these for years and they are still going strong and I can stress how good these are... 10 out of 5 .. very very happy...
