Very good value, super bright light, with a useful range of modes.

These are super bright. They light up all the sign posts from a long way away coming home on a dark evening. For the money, these are really excellent and there is really no excuse to cycle without lights kids! Convenient USB charging - you could use these for more than just cycling - a convenient work light perhaps. Fitting is the usual fiddly business with the bungees which is a pain when you have to remove them after every journey (or someone will steal them). But I've bought a few cycle lights over the years and these may just be some of the best.

The package contains one front and one rear light, four rubber attaching cables and two standard Micro USB charging cables. There is no plug included. Build: Each light is made up of 3 LEDs housed in a silicon rubber shell to protect it from the elements. There is a "belt-clip" style attachment on the rear. On the top of the light is the On/Off button and underneath there is a rubber flap to gain access to the charging point. This flap pushes shut quite firmly, keeping any spray off the road out of the electrics. Unfortunately this flap also makes it a little tricky to get the charging cable connected, but ones you get used to folding it back its not too tricky. Rated IPX4: "Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect". So rain proof. Charging: The lights each use a standard micro USB cable. Two are included in the pack but not plug. Personally I'm not fussed about this as I seem to have plenty scattered around. The lights will also charge from a computer USB socket, which I've found handy as I can just plug them in at the office without having to worry about remembering to bring a charger. When plugged in a small red light switches on to indicate it is taking a charge. The manual says that a full charge takes 3 hrs, with a run-time of 3.5hrs full beam, 10hrs half beam and 10.5hrs slow flash. Attaching: There is a "belt-clip" style hook on the back of the lights, but I've found this too loose to attach to clothing, though on something thicker such as a bag strap it seems OK. The lights use a thick rubber band which goes around the bike stem/bars and attaches at the top. It does the job pretty well, with no wobbling or movement over normal roads. Its also quick to put on and take off if you're nipping in a nd out of places and don't want to leave them on the bike. My only issue is that on my bars the brake cable runs beneath the grip top along the top bar, meaning theres a slight ridge that the back of the light rests against, meaning it takes a few second longer to sit it in a stable position. Light: Each light has 3 modes, activated by pushing the top button. Once = Full beam. Twice = Half beam. Three times = slow flash. Four times = Double flash. Five times = Off . Full beam gives a nice wide spread that can be seen from a huge distance, lighting the road for about 10 yards or so. Verdict: I would suggest these are perfect city riding lights. They're certainly bright enough to make you noticeable in the dark evenings and are compact enough to pop on and off without hassle, say you want to nip into a shop on the way home. Simple USB charging means even if you forget the cable there's probably someone around who has one to hand. They're great for lit roads, though only OK on unlit roads; I'd suggest something more powerful if you need to light the way ahead for any length of time. At the time of writing they're only £12, so if you do happen to leave them on the bike and they get pinched, it's not the end of the world. Very good product Ease of use strong lights

Excellent. They last and last and last and last!!!! Easy to use :) Depending on how well they are charged you get better brightness :) the plastic "thingy" that you get with the lights don't last as long as the light does and that is with me always removing the lights after a ride (so perhaps if you leave it on your bike the plastic "thingy" won't loosen up too soon). The charging "thingy" doesn't last that long either and is a bit fiddly! Still, 5 stars!!! :)

Excellent little lights,so powerful and the easy way to clip on and off is so important nowadays with things getting stolen. Easy to charge and they hold a long charge too. They come well packaged in a smart box with 2 charging cables and 2 extra silicone clips and the price is great, 2nd time buying these from this seller, would recommend

These are my second set of this type of bike light. After several years use, the rechargeable battery on the original pair failed and they were less bright. I find the new ones provide good brightness and I use the flashing setting to enable other road users to see me. They fasten easily onto the bike and are simply removed again if parking up in town for an hour or two. Perhaps the only improvement I can think of is to make them so the old battery can be replaced.

Seems okay but I've started to notice that the front light runs out of battery faster than the back light. I charged both for about an 1 hour, went on a 10 minute bike ride then turned them off. The next morning, the front light had already run out of battery but the back one was fine. This has happened more than once.
