Very easy to set up with my router in the house. And the picture quality is very good. Both video and stills and the app is easy to understand. Would recommend this type of camera as it doesn't have to have a power lead. It uses solar and it connects to the internet easily. Just what I needed.

Purchased this camera during a lightning Amazon sale so had a good saving over original price. I had been reading numerous reviews on different indoor CCTV cameras and came to the personal opinion that for best quality you need a minimum of a 2 megapixel lens and 1080p quality. Looking at the positive reviews on this camera I decided to try it out. Delivery was very good arriving a day earlier than expected and the camera was well protected during shipping. The camera is of solid construction, discreet and very silent in operation following post set up... First thing prior to installation was to download the Eye4 app to my Samsung J5 which was a breeze from the Play Store. I then also downloaded the Eye4 software programme to my laptop computer again very easy. Set up the camera via WIFI three feet from my sky 2.4Ghz router and plugged in an already formatted 32GB SD card. .. The CCTV camera on being plugged in was then looking to connect with my phone which I placed next to the camera...no problem at all connecting within one minute. The footage on the phone is of excellent quality and within less than 30 minutes had easily worked out how to use it...(Instructions are reasonable straight forward and easy to understand) The lap top programme is also very good and after fiddling round with it for another half hour had it all sorted..You can turn the infra red night lights on or off via the lap top, you can actually zoom in via the lap top (as opposed to zoom on mobile phone by pinching the screen) You can set individual positions you can get the camera to turn to and view both on the phone and lap top. You can speak through your phone to the CCTV camera whilst out if you have any dogs that may be misbehaving. I am going to move this camera upstairs to a windowsill in the back bedroom overlooking our garden to see if it will still receive Wi Fi signal and record.. If so will be buying another one.. Very pleased with night time low light footage as well..extremely clear.. The main reason for buying was to view our dogs whilst we are out and it is obviously a very good indoor security camera and would recommend it to anyone .. Genbolt customer services (in particular big thanks to Vincent) are quick to respond and are very helpful..Hope this review was helpful for any potential customers thinking of getting this model....

A have a few Genbolt cameras so when I needed to fill a blind spot in the garden I thought I’d try the WiFi and solar, this worked out to be the quickest install I’ve done took about 5 minutes as i already had the app, comes with a few different mounts, picture quality is far better then expected and really good at night, battery seems to stay fully charged even after running in the dark so it shouldn’t be an issue in the winter.

I had already bought one Genbolt camera in Feb 2022 and still working as good as when it was new. I was looking for a camera for my back garden as there was difficulty for a power connection availability.I looked at this solar powered camera checked the details and bought one a couple of weeks ago. I have been testing it nearly two weeks and could not find a fault. Easy to fit, easy to install.I had Genbolt App on my camera and this camera was added without any fuss. Picture quality amazing, tracking flawless, sharp images, and the camera behaviour can be controlled from the setting in the mobile app. I am reluctant to show the images around my house from this camera due to security reasons. The cable length from solar panel to camera is long enough as you can judge from the pictures. Solar panel is fitted on the side wall where sun shines most of the time. The reliability of Genbolt camera is very good as my 15 months old Genbolt camera is good as new one as I have mentioned above. No one can go wrong to buy this camera at this price. All the best.

For various reasons I've bought a 4 different Wi-Fi Security Cameras over the last few weeks. By testing these out I hope my following review provides useful information for people considering buying this GENBOLT Wi-Fi Security Camera compared with other similar products available on Amazon today. One major criteria when buying a security camera is resolution, a CCTV security device with less than 2.0MP 1080P resolution simply is not worth buying as you cannot really see things clearly which defeats the object especially if you want to capture the facial features of a burglar (recently I captured a burglar on an inferior 760P device, which was to grainy to capture facial details). The GENBOLT product has a good 2.0MP 1080P resolution which gives nice clear pictures so you can actually see what you are looking and capture facial details rather than a pixelated mess. The GENBOLT product provides much clearer image resolution than a CleverDog 960P Wi-Fi Security Camera, which at May 2017 retails for the same price, circa £50. Another selection criteria is ease of use of the software, many Chinese manufactured devices come with baffling support manuals and user interfaces that are badly thought out. Firstly, I found it easy to connect the GENBOLT Security Camera to my home Wi-Fi and the connection is very reliable. Secondly, the Pan Tilt and Zoom feature is easy to use and excellent especially when monitoring remotely from an iPhone, the zoom feature is not so good for close up as the picture becomes pixelated. Thirdly, the mobile application is not very user friendly, for example it is difficult to figure out the parameters to set in order to control the recording and retrieval of videos to/from a local SD SAN disk (which needs to be bought separately). So I docked a star on my rating for ease of use and hope that GENBOLT work on enhancing the mobile application that supports this product. Out of the 4 other security cameras I tested, the GENBOLT user interface was better and more intuitive than CleverDog 960P Wi-Fi Security Camera and UCAM247 Full HD Security Camera; but not as simple and intuitive as the Ring DoorBell Pro Security camera. In summary, this is well priced, the product is well made build quality and relatively easy to use with some great features. So it is a good product and I would recommend it for people looking for a low cost Wi-Fi Security Camera.

Really pleased with this camera , straight out of the box , followed the instructions connected my phone to the camera very easily on the app. Screwed the securing plate in place and within minutes my camera was working perfect and in position. The camera can be rotated and position easy with the phone screen joystick. Great purchase . Would recommend!

A brilliant piece of kit crystal clear picture very responsive camera fast at charging and brilliant battery life im very impressed to say the least as good as any top brand at a fraction of the cost

This review is for the GENBOLT 2K AOV WiFi Solar Security Camera. I bought this camera for diverse uses and not just general CCTV. I was persuaded by the suggested spec and price. Please note that this review will be updated should I learn of any features worth mentioning in future as there is so much functionality via the app. Pros: The battery lasts forever and is adequately charged by the solar panel, even in cloudy conditions. Overnight the power drops by about 5% under normal conditions without major engagement of motors. The pan, tilt and zoom function via the phone app is adequate although there is latency but not inconvenient. The unit can be powered alternatively and will provide mobile security coverage anywhere you have network and either solar or mains power. Ideal for nomadic onsite locations as i travel and work on many sites nationally. The image quality has adequate detail for identity purposes. The two way sound feature is the best I've come across on any camera. The driver actually on the camera is of exceptional size and reproduces your voice (via app) very clearly with ample substance and will travel quite a distance with clarity. Recorded files are downloaded easily via app. Cons: Location is restricted by network access and this model does not have a sim card function although there are other models that do. The user manual is a generic layout of all models they do so it can be difficult to find certain information. Could do with instant access to position presets via app rather than having to use pan and tilt separately to see particular areas of interest.

Ich bin mit der Kamera sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und robust, sodass sie einen langlebigen Eindruck macht. Die Einrichtung war unkompliziert und die Bedienung über die App ist einfach und übersichtlich, auch für technisch weniger erfahrene Nutzer. Die Bildqualität ist tagsüber wie nachts sehr gut. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Farbnachtsicht und die zuverlässige Bewegungserkennung. Die Kamera reagiert schnell und liefert klare Aufnahmen. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist das Solarpanel. Dadurch wird der Akku kontinuierlich geladen und ich muss die Kamera nicht ständig zum Aufladen abnehmen. Das spart Zeit und macht die Nutzung deutlich komfortabler. Für den Preis bekommt man viele Funktionen, die man sonst oft nur bei deutlich teureren Modellen findet. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die eine zuverlässige und benutzerfreundliche Überwachungskamera suchen. 👍

Empezaré diciendo que es una cámara de gran calidad, la transmisión de video es excelente y rápida. También hay que destacar su placa solar de alta eficiencia que siempre mantendrá tu cámara encendida sin preocuparte de cargarla. La conectividad 4g es rápida y sencilla, de esta forma puedes tener la cámara en cualquier sitio donde no dispongas de wifi, solo teniendo cobertura ya te sirve !! La mejor compra del año!! Viene con todos los accesorios necesarios para la instalación tanto de la cámara como de la placa solar. 100x100 recomendable!!
