I use it as fly tying varnish it is crystal clear and dries really hard.

Can you remove this with normal nail varnish remover

Yes, it soaks into your nails so you probably don't need to remove it. I wear it under nail polish. It's brilliant, do try it.

Will this still strengthen nails if I use nail varnish too?

Yes. It has worked for me. I apply it on my bare nails first, followed by the nail varnish and then later on in the week I apply it again on top of my nail varnish. It'll make your nails shiny, protect you nail varnish for longer time and acts in the hardening too.
