The car is fast! The battery life isn’t great but it holds up for a few minutes. 20 min max. The shark is a separate piece that you hook into the top but for us, it was a waist of time because anytime you whip the car around or bump into something, it just flies off anyway. (That’s my reason for 3 stars) It did keep my son content thou and he enjoys it. I will give it that.

The media could not be loaded. I'll freely admit I got this for a shark and dinosaur obsessed five year old nephew's Christmas present but I had to quality control it, right?Pluses:-Very quick. It'll pull wheelies on takeoff and will easily pursue cats and elderly dogs around the house. It runs quickly over carpet, hard floors, and recently mown grass.-Truly amphibious. I tested it out in the sink and it will move fore, aft, and rotate. It did not sink nor did water leak into the battery compartment-Ridiculously fun for a grown adult. It will be a huge hit with my nephewMinuses:-Battery connector seems somewhat fragile. I can see it being easily damaged by children. As a product improvement suggestion, integrate a sealable charging port on the outside so it is not necessary to remove the battery to charge it. On the upside, the toy is supplied with two batteries, so one can be charging while it is being played with.-Battery compartment requires the use of a small but supplied screwdriver. I know that kids are rough on fine fasteners and will readily lose the screwdriver. A tool-less closure for the battery compartment would improve the truck.All told, I think this toy is quite a bit of fun and is fairly priced for what you get (toy, remote with AA batteries, two rechargeable batteries, the screwdriver, and a charger).

Frustrating, works better in waterToo fast to control on land, there is a switch that shuts it off every time it flips over, the shark won’t stay on. Works ok enough in the water but I’d pass on this one.

My almost 3 year old and 6 year old enjoyed playing with them, and I definitely did. We’ve bought other remote control toys in the past (and had others on 2022 Christmas Day) and this is by far the best and most sustainable one yet. The shark did separate from the base but snapped back on with no issues. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and we were able to play with it for most of Christmas Day before the first battery died. It handles well in 3/4 in rock backyard setting, on carpet and concrete. It usually would flip over and correct itself with simple maneuvering of the remote control with exception of a couple times it was angled up against the concrete patio edge and ground (approximately 2.5-3in height?) which required a manual adjustment back on its wheels. It was super fast(especially compared to the two other types of remote control cars that had been bought by other family members.) It handled really well and was the star of the show compared to the other remote control cars. Durable and great battery life. Would have given it the full 5 stars except it didn’t last as long as I’d hoped-we stopped playing with it because the first battery died; however, the fun could continue due to the second rechargeable battery that is provided. Definitely a worthy item for entertainment and family fun! Highly recommended!!!

I gave this to my 12-year-old nephew. I don’t know if it’s the product itself being made of cheap plastic but it did not hold up well after one time hitting the wall, it basically exploded. He was not happy. We did not get a lot of playtime to really review it.

The controls are responsive, and it has held up well after several aquatic excursions.It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the vehicle, and a USB charger for the batteries. It also comes with a small screwdriver, used to access the battery compartments in the vehicle and the controller. The controller requires two AA batteries (not included).One thing to keep in mind is that the ground clearance of the vehicle is very low, so that it works well on flat surfaces, but it can struggle a bit in the grass. It was fun to use at the pool, since it works well on the concrete and in the water; but trying to drive it into a pond was more difficult because it can get stuck in tall grass.Overall, the little ones like playing with this, it is a fun toy to bring along to the pool.

This is such a super fun rc car. Love the shark design. It's super fast on land which makes it kind of hard to control so I would definitely recommend using it outside. Its a lot slow in the water and easier to control. Love the fact that it comes with two batteries especially since they don't last for a long time. Wish they lasted longer. Also i like that it comes with a screwdriver that you can use to change the batteries in the controller. Overall this was a lot of fun.
