To all the intel fanboys, please stop it.
I really don't know why all the intel fanboys knocks AMD. I have tried the fx8350 so I can't comment on that but let me tell you something I paid an extra £20 premium over the old one which to me is quite small for the latest CPU. This thing with 16gb of ram, ssd and Asus formula z is a beast. I'm not joking I have a browser open with about 50+ tabs, about 5+ VM's, loads of word, PDFs and Skype ect all at the same time and barely breaks a sweat. I got this for about £148. To all the Intel fanboys say oh it uses to much power, no it doesn't really a coupe of extra Penny's a day, people would have you believe it so much more going by the reviews some people say. You save that by buying this, I generally use this for VMs I will update when I play some games. Overall this is a very good CPU that is cheap and just runs everything effortlessly. This ain't a badge snob because I have both Intel and AMD products this is some one who is genuinally telling my experience.

Amd 8370+wraith cooler.
Really pleased with this, ordered it over the 8350 because it comes with the wraith cooler which you cant buy standalone.Heaps better and quieter than the stock amd cooler.Mildly overclocked it to 4.1 and it idles(quietly) at 20 degrees, after a bit of gaming it goes no higher than 40 degrees.A superb, nippy cpu kit.

Real good bang for your buck.
This was well worth the money I think, maybe an understatement lol. I can certainly see a big difference in performance from the FX6300 already. The thing that got me though was how quiet the wraith cooler is .. Unless you like silence then it is suuper quiet (I've not nor am i going to, over clock it.) And its keeping the 8370 nice and cool. I had a Zalman cooler for my 6300 and it sounded like i was sat next to a van.. So yeah very pleased with this bargain.. AMD all the way.

Good CPU, disappointing stock fan
As much as I love this CPU as it is basically the best thing without going into things like the 9000 series of FX which the TDP on them is ridiculous and you will more or less need to get either a very high end cooler or a AIO to deal with the heat output. The only thing I do not like about this is the stock cooler on it, most people that will use this CPU will either have or will get a aftermarket cooler but I had to do with the stock cooler for a little while, due to delivery problems with another few bits I got when I upgraded my setup and at idle it is not too bad but when you get into a game and it starts to heat up it gets quite loud to say the least. This is probably due to the size of the fan on the stock cooler as it has a small diameter. saying that i run prime 95 for a few hours and it never got above 50 degrees Celsius so it does do its job. In conclusion i would recommend this CPU to anyone who wants a good performer for the price but if you want more performance look at the 9000 series , if you wants slightly cheaper for not much reduction in the price go for the 8350 or 8320. If the power usage is a problem for you then look at the e series which comes in 20,50 and 70 varieties. If you do decide to go for this CPU I would recommend that that you purchase an aftermarket cooler.

Great value for the money
Great cpu upgraded from fx4300 but if installing in a complete system in a case The Wraith Cooler clip is fiddley but do not let that put you off buying this bargain once learnt how to fit the cooler next time will be a walk in the park

FOR MY FIRST PC BUILD...
The majority of people might reject this refresh of the FX 8xxx series...however this is my first pc build and i rather pick up a recent version with a tiniest bit almost unnoticeable or inexistente improvememt over the old fx 8350. I was about to make an Intel(CPU)+Nvidia(GPU) build, i needed a CPU that could handle a lot of tasks since i was into 3D animation, Photoshop and video editing, rendering, etc... It didn't felt right to me to spend so much on a CPU (Intel I7 4790k) so i decided to choose AMD instead. I'm glad i got this CPU for my first build it wasn't that cheap comparing to the 8350 but its a newer version and with a tiniest better single core performance. For now i will content myself with this but i do hope to be impressed by AMD in 2016 to the point of making me build a whole new pc. The delivery was pretty fast and ahead of schedule, many thanks for the great service.

Excellent CPU
This is a powerful 8 core 8 thread cpu, it budget price in comparison with Intel CPU, however support 32gb of ECC 1600MHZ RAM and an Nvidia Geforce 1050ti 4gb and I play Game of Warships twice as fast FSP 85 compared to 40 with my 2008 gaming rig R.

This is such a good cpu for the money
This is such a good cpu for the money, it's just so good, no it's not inferior to intel so much, I'm getting better benchmarks than a few of my mates with I5's and one with an I7, and I paid £155 for this and they paid only god knows for there's, yes amd cpu's will run slightly hotter, but get a cheap sealed water cooler and your temps will plummet from air cooling, leaving more overclocking room too, a 4.3Ghz 8 core cpu running at peak 30 degrees, idle 25, don't mind if I do :)

Works fine even on my ancient 7 y.o. Sabertooth 990FX R1.0 mobo (after BIOS upgrade, of course). Overclocks to 4.5 GHz, all cores, Prime95 8-thread stable for at least 1 day and keeps under 80C, even with the stock Wraith cooler (quite good as well but not great; not a waterblock or a 14 cm supercooler). No explicit voltage adjustments were applied (although did have to up the LLC setting to achieve full stability). Bottom line: well exceeded my expectations. Too bad it's not 2013 now, when it would have been plain spectacular.
