WHY THE IRON CRUSH FINGER EXTENSORS ARE SO IMPORTANT When it comes to hand and finger strength, most people focus almost exclusively on gripping and pinching movements. As important as these movements are, that’s only half of what your hands need to be strong and healthy. The muscles in your hands and fingers are arranged in opposing pairs; flexors that close your hands, and extensors that open them. To maximize performance and minimize your risk of developing unwanted and avoidable hand and finger problems, it’s crucial that you exercise both sets of muscles.Too much emphasis on gripping, and not enough time spent working the opposing muscles, can lead to a host of painful and debilitating problems such as: Tennis elbow Golfer’s elbow Tendonitis Carpal tunnel syndrome Repetitive strain injuries Stenographer’s finger ArthritisWhether you play the guitar, play baseball, climb mountains, play tennis, lift weights, or work at a keyboard, you need to make sure your finger extensors muscles are every bit as strong as your finger flexors.

Great quality, easy to use, good range of resistance
I've always used just plain rubber bands before, then I upgraded and tried out this ball thing with finger loops, which was a bit cumbersome to use. Then I saw these, which pretty much exemplified the "rubber band" use case. This means its very simple and easy to use. Better yet, they give you a good range of resistance. They have 5 different strengths available, and I'm only able to use up to the 3rd! That means i have a good range to train into, and I won't max out my tools right away. it also starts out very easy, so there is a band for every one. They also give you 2 of each, so you could in theory train each hand at the same time, or have an extra (god forbid one of them breaks), or give it to your friend.Overall for 10 bucks, this is a great value, and I'm definitely adding this to my training tools for climbing!

Does the job
Exactly what I was looking for. Once you purchase this you get emailed a link to a PDF with some suggested exercises as well which is great. There is a rubbery smell left on the hands after use but can be easily washed away with soap and water. It is nice that there are two of each strength however they are not labeled. It would appear that the order shown (yellow weakest to black hardest) is the resistance scale. They sometimes slip down my hand, and for a few exercises the bands seem a little large but I have small hands so for men or the majority of women I don't think you would have that issue.

Alright for Price
Great, cheap forearm extensor trainning. A flaw is there is a large and noticeable difference between the band thicknesses on a matching pair. I end up have to switch right and left to even things out.

Great product for a low price
Great for strengthening your hand extensors which are weak in the majority of people since most people dont pay attention to them. It's a good workout for your fingers and forearm and you can feel the burn in your muscles if you exercise hard enough. The bands are colored from weakest (yellow) to strongest (black) and you get 2 sets of 5 bands. It even comes with a tiny bag to keep all of your bands in and you can take it anywhere you go. It does have a slight ballon-like smell but it'll probably go away after you use it for a while.

Did not realize my hand was so weak!
I had a stroke in 2010 and rehab focused on the "grip" of my injured hand. I did not work with anything like this in rehab. These are hard at first but with use, they become easier and you can go to the next one. Comes with a drawstring bag to hold all the "bands" in. Easy to use and the seller sends you a sheet to explain how to use the bands and exercises you can do via email. Totally recommend!

Strengthen those digits
I like that these are varied resistance levels and that you can stack them for added resistance.

Worth the Money
Perfect for strengthening intrinsic hand muscles. I've used the heavy elastics that hold broccoli and other produce to strengthen hand and finger muscles and its not the same. These are wider so they stay on the hand better. They are color coded for strength, the darker the color the heavier the band making it easier to track your progress. If manage to break these while working out your hands congratulations you don't need to work out anymore! Seriously I held off on buying these from another supplier because I thought they cost too much, but at $6.00 I made the plunge and really like the quality and feel of these bands.Pros: Affordable, great quality, great fit.Cons: No Instructions included or online.
