Copic Nib Tweezers for Nib Removal (TWZR)

I really like these tweezers because od the claw grip at the end. They worked better than regular tweezers.

I wasn't sure if I'd need something like this, but as I wanted not to waste the marker tips, I thought I should do the job right. It does just what it needs to, without crushing or deforming the marker tip.

As silly as it may seem to buy a pair of tweezers just for pulling out marker nibs, this product does make it a heck of a lot easier and more convenient to do so. Worth the $7.

Good quality but they need some grip so your fingers won't slide off as you pull on the tip.

This product was recommended for removing tips off from markers. Of course, in the meantime I was having a situation with something completely unrelated when I thought of this tool which worked perfectly.

Work exactly as needed. I had thought I could use regular tweezers for my Copic Markers to replace the nibs. Nope, they won't grip quite right. These are strong enough with teeth to do the job. The do bend just a little bit but easy enough to squeeze back into shape. The handle part could perhaps be a bit sturdier.

Bought this and some replacement nibs as the nib on one of my Copics was shot, and I figured it would be cheaper in the long run to replace marker nibs than full markers as I use mine frequently and knew sooner or later another nib would go. The tweezers made removing the nib without getting my fingers all inky super easy. They were definitely a great purchase! Where the tweezers meet is a vvv type pattern edge, which helps them grip the nib and remove it, so definitely different than a regular pair of tweezers as well.

I wasn't sure whether this was all that necessary, but after using it a few times to switch out nibs and then one day trying to do it without the tool, I quickly decided it was a worthwhile tool. It just exacts the right amount of pressure where the teeth grip the felt nib without compromising the shape at all especially if you plan on continuing to use it. Thanks Copic!
