This was a great replacement for the standard tip on my cane. I got tired of trying to find a place to put my cane when I need my hands free. This foot eliminated that problem. I can just set it down and let it stand. Some other reviews mentioned that it's too heavy. I don't know how you would create a stabilizing foot like this without having sufficient mass to stabilize the cane when it is standing by itself. I do not find the weight to be any problem whatsoever. If the cane falls over, I can usually just step on the foot and the cane will pop up to where I can grab it. You do need to set the cane down and make sure it's on a level surface before letting go of the cane, otherwise you will need to use the trick to step on the foot to pop it up again. I like the size of the foot. There are some cane stabilizers that stick so far out that they pose a tripping hazard. I have had no problem with durability during the time that I have used it. It seems to be in pretty good shape. I recommend it for those of us who find a cane necessary.

This cane tip is not as heavy as the previous tip. It has good balance with its 6 small feet and stands easily on its own on hardwood and linoleum floors. It was easy to get into place on the cane. It changed the height of my cane just a tiny amount; not enough to require any adjustment. I have used it on flat smooth surfaces and uneven terrain. It is stable on multiple surfaces. While using it on muddy ground, it did collect dirt, as did my shoes. This cane tip kept me stable on challenging surfaces.

Works great and cane stands by itself using this. No more tipsy cane. Thanks

It was exactly what I wanted and helps me be more stable. It looked just like the picture and fit my cane perfectly.

I purchased this cane tip to see if it would give me greater stability with my cane. I am trying it against the standard tip tip. Being a new cane user (I’m trying to graduate from a walker up to a cane) I find them pretty much equal. I think I just need more practice. I do like the ability for the cane to stand on its own. Without out it my cane has fallen and it takes some effort for me to pick it up. I hope this six point tip wins out.
