Before the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, her and I were discussing lights bulbs and she told me they only use these in the Royal Palace.Since then I bought some and have been impressed.They save so much power the electric company actually pays me monthly now.Polar bears are sending me Christmas cards for personally saving the Ice fields up north.i know, you are jealous, everybody is.You're welcome

We have a number of wall sconces that seemingly started to go south with burned out bulbs one after another. I finally looked inside and thought I would find the usual bi-pin bulbs, but to my surprise they are screw-in. However they are smaller than the traditional 12mm Edisons. On measuring, I found them to be 11mm. Was pleased to find this E11 size “mini-candelabra” on Amazon, and in an LED, too. I purchased 4 to start, and they are just fine with the correct Kelvin color temp and lumens. I will be getting more to swap out the aged halogens in the rest of the wall lights.

A ceiling fan light fixture included with a fan had 4 - 50W halogen bulbs that overheated causing the fixture to short and trip the breaker. The jacketing of the fixture wires were found to be melted leaving bare wires. With no matching replacement light fixture found, the existing fixture was rebuilt using 4 - new porcelain bulb bases and wires in lieu of replacing the entire fan. To prevent a repeat, the 4 - bulbs were replaced with E11 T4 Mini-Candelabra LED's. The new fan lights provides similar amount of light and dimmable. After a few hours of operating the new LED bulbs at full output, the light fixture temperature was checked and found to be warm to the touch, but not hot. Heat was reduced by about 90% allowing the light to operate continuously without concern of overheating. The LED bulb design is not attractive, but not noticeable when lit and mostly hidden by the globe when off.

These bulbs are NOT a direct replacement for Phillip 50Q/CL Halogen bulbs. Problem is the insulator base on these bulbs are wider than the original Halogen bulbs. As a result the base will not screw into the fixture far enough for the bulb electrode to contact the electrode in the fixture.

This is sort of a canned review since it applies to all the recent LED bulbs I have purchases. I have tried a few others that did not fit or work. So it is from a live human and not a bot. LOL. Happy these worked! They all tested good and are very bright. It can blind you! LOL. I just hope they last as long as advertised. Bein LED. I wish there were US made ones to select from Strange that it seems 99% of smaller LED bulbs are made outside of the states, but the is the global market now.If they do not last long I will update my review accordingly. This is why I did not rate the longevity since I cannot say how long they will last. Good luck!

These bulbs were a little questionable when I first installed them. Screw contact/base seemed to be a little short so they had to be screwed in very tightly to make contact with the socket in our bathroom vanity fixture (from the Kichler Structures line). At least a couple of the bulbs were still "intermittent", and I had to "wiggle" them a little to get the to stay on, but I gave it a go and re-installed the lamp glasswork. The bulb brightness was less than the prior halogen bulbs, but of course the energy savings promised to be significant. Now two years later one of the bulbs is very dim (almost dark) and had to be replaced -- on a fixture that is only used for less than a hour or two a day. I replaced it with a FEIT LED bulb that is very similar and available from the local Home Depot -- at a much higher price. When previously I bought these SIMBA bulbs (2 years ago), LED in this specific size and socket were only sold online, but now that I can get them from Home Depot, I will just buy their offering. If I get a bad bulb, it can easily be returned to the store. Those bulbs seemed to fit a little better (socket threads matched the fixture better) and the quality seems to be at least moderately higher.

I bought a set of 4 and installed 2. Two years later I needed to replace a bulb and found that both of the remaining bulbs were not working.

Like the product. Needed 6, so bought 4 first to make sure they worked. 3 out the 4 were fine. One bulb flickered defective). Bought another pkg of 4 bulbs to complete my replacement project. So happy. The fixtures are now cool to the touch. Plus, instead of using 300 watts total, I’m now just using 30 watts. But, in order to get a refund on the bad bulb, Amazon sent me a no charge replacement pack of bulbs so I could return the bad bulb. So when the replacement bulbs arrived, I removed one bulb from the box, and put the defective bulb inside (marked as such), and returned it to Amazon. Why they don’t simply credit you for the one bulb seems crazy. But, not that difficult to work within their policy.
