They are great for leaving messages but if you leave it on pages in your book you can feel the sticky stuff left on page.

Writing smudges/ is removable
I like the feel of these notes, and they are brightly colored. However, writing on them is terrible. They are waxy and all inks I've tried so far (sharpie, pen, gel, highlighter, marker) have wiped/washed off.Not great for notes because it smudges, but fabulous for movable book marks bc they restick several times

Transparent and fun!
I bought these to use in my bible and bible study guide (which is 600 pages and immensely heavy, but I digress). They are better than the other ones that I bought because they are lined and the glue doesnt leave residue all over the pages if you need to move or replace a sticky. They are transparent but the colors are nice and vibrant (well all but the white but its meant to be so). Overall, I love these and will buy again!
