5lbs Shredded Memory Foam Filling for Bean Bag Chair, Premium Beanbag Stuffing High Density Memory Foam Refill

This foam was a game changer and totally transformed the look and comfort of accent chairs I had ordered. The cushions came out looking and feeling like lumpy dog beds. I really liked the chairs but knew they needed more stuffing for me to keep them. I ordered this foam and it shipped over night and was exactly what I was looking for. This foam is easy to use, soft and I had a bunch left over. It does take some time to expand but works great. I’d buy and recommend again and again!

We had two nice bean bag ottomans that were 16x16. The cover is like a turkish kilim that comes off to wash. Luckily, there was another zipped inside liner that conainted the "beads". The ottomans were basically flattened to half the size but we did not want to mess with more of those poly beads. I read the reviews and this 2 pack of 5lbs each was the cheapest option. It was very easy to fill and did not create a big mess. I opened the shrink rap bag and just took out large handfulls and pulled them apart manually and placed in the inner zipper liner. I then shoved them down within the beads. There were a few beads stuck to my hands but shaking or lightly damp paper towel took care of that. In our case only took 5 lbs to completely regain a full and firmer ottoman. Wish I would have taken pics because the outcome was amazing.

To be fair, the product is as described, and seems like decent quality, though it definitely has a slight chemical smell as others have described. It's very squishy, which is something I knew about memory foam, but seeing in the listing and elsewhere online that some like to use this as beanbag filling, and having a beanbag chair that went flat all too soon, I thought I'd give this a shot as a replacement. I strongly recommend against doing that. Exactly what you might expect would happen will happen. You stuff your beanbag chair as full as it will go, step back to admire how overstuffed it looks, sit down in it, and immediately sink straight to the hard floor. In a normal-sized beanbag chair, you just can't get enough memory foam to support an adult. Maybe in a super-massive one where you are hamocked and spreading your weight over a huge surface area of foam it might work. For reference, adult male, about 200lbs. Not huge.

Great way to save your dog bed. My dog peed on her peed and thankfully I could just buy new foam for it vs a new bed. Would recommend.

After stuffing just let it settle for a few and it will fluff up. I stuffed a pregnancy pillow because when i lay on it , it didn't feel like stuffed so i decided to get this to make it more thick. I added this on top of the cotton stuffing the pillow originally had. By doing that it made the pillow thick. Now I can lay on it and feel like a cloud. (FYI I got the pillow for my back problems.) I think I would feel even more comfortable if I had took the stuffing out the pillow and just added the memory foam stuffing in it.

One bag wasn’t enough for a small project! Needed to by two. And this stuff stunk!! Smelled so Bad!!

Got this instead of the messy beans.my dog actually loves laying on the bean bag chair more now than with regular beans. Do much softer and more comfortable.

Wish I could return this but of course I already opened it. It’s the only way to find out it’s not memory foam. There may be nuts in there. Those bits are sticky, discolored and questionable. I assume discarded or donated and now being sold for 40 bulks for ten pounds. At 4 bulks per pound of garbage that’s not bad at all for the seller. Unfortunately I’m an honest person who won’t sell garbage for a profit so that means I just lost my cash and can imagine how many other people have that don’t take time to write a review as I often don’t. But this is really irritating and I rely on reviews myself so I’m writing one to help protect others from the experience I just had. I didn’t want to spend 1300.00 on the beanbag I wanted so I opten to buy the liner, filling and exterior I wanted at half the price. I’m glad I didn’t buy all the filler at once. I’m beginning to realize it would be cheaper to buy a small mattress and cut it into smaller pieces myself or hire someone to do it. I’m so frustrated w the cheap trash that’s being sold at these ridiculous prices. At the very least be honest about what we’re being sold.

I bought 2 bags to fill a U-shaped pregnancy pillow so that it looked like the pictures (because we all know they never do lol) and I wanted something that was going to be soft, but dense and supportive. I have chronic illness and spend a lot of time in bed, so it was important to choose the right material.When I got the bags, they were compressed very well and came in thick plastic bags. As soon as I opened them, they started puffing up. They did have a VERY strong chemical smell, so I used the large Amazon box and just dumped both bags in the box and let them air out/puff up for 2 days, stirring and separating them every 6-12 hours or so. They were quite perfect after letting them expand and air out, although admittedly still smelled a little bit.Two bags were the perfect amount to fill a pregnancy pillow, and now it looks and feels like a luxury one you'd pay $200+ for. It has significantly improved my quality of life when I am sick, and I can't put a price on that. Thank you!

Within an hour of opening one of the package, it was ready to be used! See a sealed package next to the open pack. I did manually pull it appart as all the pieces were stuck together. It does have a bit of a plasticky smell but that's normal with memory foam when it first airs out. The smell goes away.
