Good enough
I bought this camera to compile a work load report for an apartment complex. I was tired of having 10000+ photos from jobs in my phone and needed an alternative. On some of the pictures, upon reviewing on laptop, were much darker than I had hoped. Either the flash is weak or I didn't have it set right. Either way, I got what I paid for.

128gb card will not work on this thing
The product description says it can take up to 128gb memory card. I put one in and it is in an endless booting loop. It only stops the loop if I put in the micro-sd it came with. 32gb should work for what I need to do, but they should not advertise that it can take a 128 if it cannot. I bought two of these and the same thing is happening on both with different 128gb cards. Edit - the card has to be reformatted in the camera. It's a PROCESS to figure that out.

Lots of fun features, but - wow - a challenge to learn how it works
When I lifted this out of its box, I was impressed by the packaging and I loved the color of it. The "8K" notation was intriguing. Then, I tried to use it. For nearly an hour. The instructions were well-illustrated, but still confusing. For example, the shutter button also serves as a navigation button. The power button seems to serve dual purposes, too. Finally, I figured out how to take a few pictures. The quality was fine.I also recorded three videos. Once I figured out which buttons control which functions - NOT easy - the videos were pretty good quality, too.Where I think this camera shines is: It includes three games (Tetris, Snake, and some push-box game that was new to me), and they're amusing and surprisingly easy to play. This camera also plays MP3s. The sound quality is pretty good... better than I'd expected from a kids' camera. It also has a rear/back lens as well as a front one, making selfies super-easy. The fill light is a nice addition for low-light settings, too.And then there's the large number of cute, colorful image accents and frames, automatically adding fun and funny elements to your photos.Anyway...Kind of frazzled, I handed the camera (and instruction manual) to my husband. He seemed to think that he could figure it out faster than I could. Not that I was irritated by that, mind you. ;)After 20 minutes, he was able to take a picture and play games, but couldn't figure out how to access the video option. (Yes, I felt smug for being more persistent and able to record videos.)My point is: This camera looks like several others I've tested, and one I've used happily for over a year. However, the controls on this aren't like any of my other cameras. In fact, they seem counter-intuitive.Maybe a child will figure this camera out, quickly. Or maybe they'll default to playing cute, full-color games with sound, already built into this camera. As a toy, it's fun. As a working camera...? I'm not so sure.If I were to pick up that camera again today, I'm not sure I'd remember when to push which buttons to use the features (photos and videos) that most interest me.It'd be a five-star camera for the many features it includes, and it's pretty to look at.However, I was between three- and four-stars because those features and the controls seems too complex for a child to figure out.

Good Toy For The Price
Overall, this has a a decent toy for the price. But, it is definitely of toy quality and not a high quality electronic. This was great for my 9 year old daughter who occasionally wants to take pictures of things she likes. She also really enjoyed the snake and Tetris games included on a long car drive to pass time. I wouldn’t give this five stars because the quality of the pictures is less clear than the sample images of the item and it’s not what I would user-friendly. It took me and my husband a few tries to figure out how to navigate the camera as well as use all the available filter. If you have a young child with a light interest in photography, this could make a great gift.

Okay camera for kids
The camera comes well-packaged with everything described and is super cute. It's extremely light which is a pro and a con: good size for children's hands but feels a little flimsy. It was a bit confusing to navigate at first and the instructions aren't super clear but after you fiddle with it a minute, it starts to make sense. Honestly, kids will probably find it easier to learn because they're always quicker than adults to learn new products. :)Picture quality is a bit of a disappointment as I was expecting really sharp images with 48 megapixels but for a child it would do the job. My cell phone takes way better shots despite having less megapixels but let's be real: I don't wanna buy the kiddo a cell phone just for the camera. For what he wants to use it for, this will work nicely. Also on the positive side: it comes with cute little filters; mp3 option is included; video quality isn't bad at all; there's games on it.All in all, it's a decent little camera but at this price-point it would be worth it to shop around.
