Duck Covers Essential Loveseat Cover, 54-Inch

We live in Lima, Peru, and were looking for a simple cover to protect our patio furniture from the sun, dust/dirt, and keep dew off. I'm happy to say I'm very pleased with this purchase. Fit: This item is cut properly (tapered front, with straight sides), and fits perfect over my love-seat. Perfect fit out of the box. Also, there are leg ties in case you're storing for the winter, or are in an especially windy location. Quality: The material and workmanship of this cover is good. Quality, sewn seams, welded on the inside. It's not a traditional plastic or canvas cover, it's more like a felt-like material, and does rip a little easier than a canvas one might. However, it's way lighter, and breathable. I can't really speak to the ling-term waterproof ability, since it never rains here in Lima...but it appears to be made of the same material some light-weight rain jackets are. I tested with a garden hose, and the water just beads and rolls off, so there's that. All in all, it's a decent buy for the money, and as long as it lasts a few years, I'll be happy with the purchase.

Good quality construction; fits well for our love seat, as well as an atypical use case of covering two swivel chairs. A bit on the thin side, but ours will not be in the sun, so these meet our needs well. The tie down straps are more effective than typical velcro solutions.

I had oxford cloth covers for my outdoor furniture, but they started to let in water a couple of months after buying and recently they started to rip. The duck covers were a reasonable price to replace them with so I gave them a try. First thoughts, they're quite large and will fit a loveseat much deeper than mine, but no worries, they have ties in each of the four corners to attach to the legs so they stay well in place. They are heavier duty than the oxford cloth, a little bulkier and I wasn't sure if they would keep the rain off, because they look like they're made from a re-useable grocery bag type of material but much thicker. When it rained a little you could see that water had absorbed into the cloth, but it didn't make it to the furniture. When we had torrential rain for an entire overnight, the furniture was still dry, and no pooling on top of the covers. Now I always have dry seats to sit on the deck, that makes me very happy, Now I've replaced all of the oxford cloth covers with this product.
