As most essential oils are, you can tell this is eucalyptus oil but because it is an essential oil of eucalyptus, it does not have an overpowering scent. I ordered this because I have recently started educating myself on essential oils and their healing benefits. I ahve been working my way through what I consider as priority oils, and though eucalyptus was not originally on my top-of-the-list essential oils, I recently had a migraine that just wouldn't go away with my usual treatment. After searching for essential oil treatments, eucalyptus oil was one of the top 5 to mix together for aroma therapy and to actually apply to the temples when mixed with a carrier oil like coconut oil. I mixed the eucalyptus oil with mint, cinnamon bark, vetiver, and lavender essential oils. Though I had already gotten over that almost unending migraine a few days before aquiring this eucalyptus oil, I still was having some sinus issues and would get slight headaches from that. I usually put just a couple of drops of the mixed oils in my hand, rub them togehter to get a thorough spread, and then place my cupped hands near my face (do not touch your face or you will regret it), and take deep breathes through my nose. I usually get quick, to almost immediate relief with my sinuses beginning to open up and reduce the pressure. The eucalyptus aroma is not overpowering and you can smell it along with most of the other aromatic oils. They do blend together well. I have used the eucalyptus essential oil with coconut oil, about 5 drops to the teaspoon of coconut oil, on my temples which does give a bit of a 'pressure relief' soon after applying. This brand is a bit expensive gieven that there is at least one other brand of 100% pure undiluted premium theraputic grade eucalyptus oil that is the same price for 4 ounces instead of 1 ounce as this one is. This is good essential oil, just a bit pricey.

Another quality oil very true to expected scent. Get for cold flu and allergy season to help breathe easier.

The bottle is securely packaged and a dropper is also included which is convenient for usage. The negative for me is that normally the eucalyptus scent is refreshing, but this brand seems to have a chemical smell to it that I don’t like.

Good strong eucalyptus! It lasts for a few days when using for aromatherapy or air freshening. Excellent in a diffuser.
