I was finally able to connect my MacBook Pro 2017 to my Samsung monitor. I tried the usb-c to hdmi connector but the monitor was intermittent and jumpy. I wish I would have tried this cable first since it is cheap and simple. Why buy a connector when you can buy a new cable and connect directly... If the resolution is not correct, change both the MBP system preference -> display settings and the monitors menu settings until you have the correct combination.

This USB C to HDMI cable makes the connection much easier from my pc to projector. As described, just plug and play! It’s long enough that It’s not necessary to move the projector too close to the pc. The last but not least, the red color is eyeball catching. It can be easier picked up among different kind of cables.

I bought 3 of these cables. At first they worked very well. After a few months, one by one my monitors started to look pink (see picture). Tried everything to fix it but was unsuccessful. The cables were warm to touch. Changed the cable from a different company, and the monitor colors were normal.

I had high hopes for this product because of the reviews..that's what made me to buy this. Sad to say that it was bust, not a complete one because it did pop up on the TV..when it played it kept going in and out constantly and i couldn't finish the movie because of it..guess i ended up with a bad one..hopefully baselab will send another one to replace this one..

I won’t slam this cable. My device was not on the specific Chromebooks listed in the item description. I figured if the note 8 was a fit then maybe another Samsung product would also be compatible. Not so. I ended up buying a MOKiN cable which worked out just fine.

Works on both a Dell XPS 13 (2017 model) and a HP Envy 13t (late 2017 model).I use it to hook up to a projector to my laptop for the occasional TV/Movie marathon in bed.

I use it to connect my laptop and projector. It's so easy to use, plug and play smoothly works like breeze. The 6ft length is just right for me. I'm satisfied with this purchase so far.

Update: the cable is inconsistent when I use it. It rarely works on the first try. Not worth it. I’m using it with my dell xps 13
