As soon as you plug it into the battery pack the sounds and lights go off as you expect but it doesn't switch off and there is no response from the remote. Tried swapping the battery on the controller just in case but still nothing. Im guessing this is a faulty batch with the new modules so if I were you I'd think twice before buying. I may have to return as there seems to be no customer support. Update I had repurchased to test and this time it worked without issue and I decided to keep the lights as a backup just in case so why the 5 stars. The seller had got in touch pretty quickly and offered a full refund which is great but like I say its good to have the backup.

I had a few teething problems at first when I ordered this lighting kit. Missing parts etc, but it was quickly sorted and I fitted it to my model. It’s not an easy fit with some bits in really fiddly places and other bits (the stud LED pieces) not snapping at all to the Lego model. The lights are really bright but not overly so and they all work in sync. The music and sound effects are a nice touch as well and come through really clear. The price tag however was quite high, coming in at over half the cost of the model itself. With no replacement pieces in the event of an accidental breakage I think the cost is a little too high. All in all though it’s a great quality lighting kit and I’m glad of the purchase.

My ECTO-1 looks stunning with these light effects. Although finnicky to install with its hair thin wires, if you got the patience to put the car together, you should have enough patience for this kit. It is an upgrade that's worth every penny. In my kit, the unit that controls the front flashes was faulty, but after contacting the seller with the problem and describing the issue in details, they were very helpful and sent me a replacement straight away. Superb customer service! Superb lighting kit!

Worked great for 1 day, then stopped. Sound no longer works. This is the 2nd set, so im realy anoyed. I have to take it all apart AGAIN!!!!!! I wont be buying snother🤬😠🤬😡👎👎

I wasn't entirely sure this kit would be worth £70 but afrer installing it, it most definitely is. The fact they've managed to make lights and wires that fit below and through lego bricks is incredible and I can only assume this is why it's so expensive. There's about 10 or so replacement bricks with lights pre installed and the rest you put under existing parts. The kit took about 3-4hrs to install and the instructions are mostly pretty detailed. I do recommend looking at the images on their website as you can zoom in on a couple of slightly confusing images. When you're placing the long cables under the car I'd recommend numbering them or plugging them straight in to the final board as it can be a bit confusing which cable goes where when you have 8 of them. The Final install is pretty clean with only a couple of wires visable. A couple could have been better hidden if they were supplied with slightly longer cables (the 5 blue and 1 red light on top) There's 3 pre-set sound and light sequences and the 8 individual buttons also have a sound and light action. If you turn the volume down/off you can turn individual lights on and off to have them set the way you like it. (I like them all on with the interior lights off. The kit comes with a battery pack that holds 4 aaa batteries and a cable with a USB plug for connecting to an external power bank. The included battery pack fits in the rear of the car fine and doesn't effect the gunner seat or trap drop if positioned a certain way. Would you be better with one of the cheaper "just light" kits? Probably as you'll probably very rarely use the sound effects, but if you want to show the model off the sounds and song/siren is just really cool and worth the extra cost. Should you buy it? Probably not. Will you love it once its installed? Yes, yes you will.

Day 1 of installing this it works fine, day two I'm getting a page of errors, support phone number doesn't work and no one is responding to chat or email. Complete waste of £75 :( *Update* after 3 days the instructions website is working again, and I've managed to install the lights which work, still unsure as to why it has taken so long to respond. But I have a working product now.

Bought the lego set, I've got a display case coming from wicked bricks, but this light and sound kit really finishes this incredible lego set off. Easy to install, I'd check the company website for photos instead of the booklet that comes with it, as you can zoom in on the install photos. Easy to install and what else can I say apart from it's absolutely amazing. It's expensive, sure, but it really does complete the set. Everyone that I've shown this video to is amazed. You install led attached to wires in between certain bricks and hook them all into a controller circuit board. All the wires are well hidden and secured to the set itself that allows full functionality of the car (wheels, steering etc). There's various sound options on the remote control that's included, like the breaks being applied, car doors closing, sirens and f course, the best....the ghostbusters theme tune. If you have the ecto1 lego set this is a no brainer, buy it. You won't be disappointed. If you are disappointed for some, odd, strange reason, who ya gonna call... ?

Great product and works well, after I paired the controller I started getting glitches in the sound but I then changed the batteries after contacting the seller and it now works as it should. During the installation I found there is an error in the instructions in step 3. Don’t plug the headlights in the extender under the bonnet, (hood if your American) follow the steps in step 10. The wires are quite easy to repair if you break one which happened to me after I put a light into the wrong terminal and had to pull it back out, they are like phone wires and if you have a needle you can pluck the broken wire out of the block and push the wire back in. They don’t need to be stripped. It is a fiddly install but we’ll worth the patience and a few choice words.

Per la ecto 1 questo kit è d'obbligo,il risultato è fantastico. L'unica cosa non riesci a far funzionare il telecomando.

Todo perfecto. Montaje de luces y sonido. Y con librito de fotos a color de todo el proceso instalación.

Alles super gelaufen ,Einbau ging gut . Film Feeling Zuhause. Der Ecto-1 wird hiermit Mega aufgewertet . Super Mehrwert .Viele Funktionen. Nur zu Empfehlen.

Reçu rapidement... Le tarif est un peu excessif mais sa en vaut vraiment le coup car une fois en place le rendu est super... Reçu avec 4 broches endommagée et fils coupé mais sa se répare asser facilement avec une pince et une loupe .... Je recommande

Degno completamento di un set Lego leggendario! Complesso da montare a causa anche degli spazi ristretti e di una brochure piuttosto striminzita e minimale nelle spiegazioni pressoché grafiche! Non costa poco ma è forse il kit più completo tra quelli disponibili.
