Beautiful Earth Tones.

The beads are of a nice uniform size and polished smoothly enough that each bead reflected my twin fill lights. I started wondering if they were some sort of composite or reconstituted stone material. Looking closely, the surface of the beads showed enough pitting and irregularities to convince me that these were indeed natural stones. There were only a couple of beads with an obvious pinhole or fissure on the surface, which might disqualify them from a higher grade. All the beads have been smoothly center drilled, with no apparent burrs or rough edges, ready to utilize in your designs. All in all, a quality product for the home jeweler which adds another dimension without breaking the bank. I only took off a star because the description specifically states 48 beads in a 15 inch strand, whereas I only received 45 beads.As a long time woodworker, I am used to nominal sizing, so 45 x 8mm beads is > 14 inches and rounds up to 15 inches.

These map jasper beads were very much as pictured. They are smooth, even and well polished. I got 10mm and the correct number of stones with about a 1 mm hole. I show a few of the beads in my photo. I’m not sure why I decided on this stone because it is fairly uninteresting. There are striations or “maps” as in the name but they are basically black on gray. I will pair them with interesting silver tone spacers, maybe some large pearls or black lava. I may try some crystal beads to bring in some sparkle. Just what I ordered.

These are translucent green beads that are evenly sized and of good quality. I think these will be nice for my holiday themed jewelry.

These beads are ok, they're not premium but are acceptable. Most of them are a little out of round and not finely polished with numerous flat spots. Some have chipping at the holes that looks a little like blowout from drilling and also some dovots and chips likely from processing. After culling the ugly ones I should have enough left over for a decent bracelet, but a lot of them aren't that great and I've gotten higher quality Labradorite beads for around the same price.

Beads are similar to the photos! They look nice in my jewelry creations. Only complaint is some of the beads looked a little foggy or like they didn't have a good polish. Overall happy with these!
