The Amazer Shower Curtain Hooks are sturdy, easy to install, and have held up well in my bathroom. The polished chrome finish looks nice, and they move smoothly across the shower rod. My biggest complaint is that they are pretty loud. Every time the curtain is opened or closed, the metal hooks make a noticeable rattling noise against the rod. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's definitely louder than I expected. Other than the noise, they work great and hold the curtain securely. If you don't mind a little extra sound when opening and closing your shower curtain, these are a good value for the price.

So easy to change out my shower curtains. Inside the tube area the clear curtsin and outside a pretty shower curtain. So now don't have to remove both curtains at once.

Works and looks as it should

My shower bar is firmly fixed to the wall. It has an extender so the bar kind of looks like a telescoping bar; one end has a larger diameter than the other. There are also two screws on the bar on either end that stick up a little bit. I previously used the plastic rings that look like a big C. I got tired of them not working well when pushing the curtain out of the way. They'd get hung up on the screws and even on the part that merges from small diameter to larger diameter bar. And then if you move them at more than a snail's pace the C shaped rings get all tangled with each other and I end up spending minutes trying to separate them. I wanted something to roll right over the obstacles without a hitch. These do the trick. Yes, they make noise because it's metal on metal. And because I didn't undo the bar from the wall I had to bend the rings a bit to get over the bulk of the shower bar. They bent right back in place after I got them on. And yes, they left tiny hairline scratches on the bar (visible from the top when standing on a chair scrutinizing the bar) by forcing them over the bar and not sliding in from the side. However, I no longer have to pull apart the various C shaped rings that needed to be babied all the time. I haven't had these long enough to tell if they will rust, but I order the stainless steel with polished chrome so I'm betting they'll hold up pretty well.

I scoffed when I opened the package and saw a note asking me to give an Amazon Review. Who would write a review for a shower curtain hook? Well I have to eat crow. I would. I am. Look I bought these things because I needed a hook and don't want a plastic one for appearance and durability reasons. I'm throwing away the old clear plastic ones that are now yellow, and looking for a new look in the shower, along with a lot of other little updates in the bath. So I looked for a metal one but cheap you know? I bought these and just putting them in I realized someone has made a really thoughtful update to the product. First, they are DOUBLE hooks, they have two prongs, one for the curtain, one for the liner, instead of sharing the same hook. That allow a slight separation of the two and a straighter hang for both and a nice look. The separation means they won't stick together and allow moisture to be trapped between them so the thing dries out faster and no mildew. The design allows for a much easier installation of both curtain and liner. And the hook itself with the bead like rollers where it hooks over the rod slides much more easily due to lower contact surface, you will be surprise how nice the effect is when you slide the curtain open. Okay I have never paid much attention to these things until now, and I'm going to buy a set for the other bathroom even though they don't need replacing. Bravo to the designers!

Great product!

I was beyond tired of my shower hooks coming undone from the shower curtain. It also dragged on the rod and made it difficult to close the curtain. These hooks are exactly what I needed!! They stay hooked and glide with perfect ease.
