CISM Certified Information Security Manager All-in-One Exam Guide, Second Edition: An Introduction to the Issues and the Literature

I purchased Peter's CISM AIO Exam Guide Book & Practice Exam Book and used it along with other study materials also - Mike Chappel, Hemang Doshi, Prabh Nair, Thor Peterson & the ISACA Review Manual. The way he explains Technical concepts is amazing. I also went through his other Books on other Certification Exams too - CISA & CRISC... Planning to attempt them next. I cleared my Exam comfortably in the first attemp itself. To gain a holistic view of the Job Practice areas, apart from the Candidates Experience, I would recommend aspirants to go through multiple sources of Study materials... (apart from the Official ISACA Review Manual & Questions) each author has his own unique way of explaining things, which will help you better understand & retain the concepts! Peter's AIO series Books are Absolutely worth it & strongly recommended...

Read it from beginning to end, did the practice questions and went on to pass my CISM exam. This book was instrumental in this success. Highly recommend!

While the contents is fine the paperback book I received is clearly a ‘second’. I suspect that when the publisher inserted the online licence page (the first physical page) they failed to include a blankpage following, so now all the pages are effectively one page out. Refer to photos All the title pages face the back of the book, the page numbers are on the spine side of the page. So to are the Part flags. These should be on the right pages on the extreme edg, so they create a shadow effect and when riffling the pages it is easy to locate each section. The pages have hot been guillotined correctly and are very rough and not particularly easy to turn. You have to use the bottom of the page (which is smoother) or use a very wet finger on the page face. I was surprised as I have purchased many McGraw Hill books and this is the first with bad typesetting and manufacture faults I would have returned this book but I put on a protective cover before I realised the issues.

Latest version of CISM. Informative and easy to read.
