Dr. Elsey's Clean Tracks Clumping Clay Cat Litter 18 lb. Bag

After trying what feels like every cat litter on the market, this one has been one of the best. It clumps quickly into solid scoops, making the litter box much easier to clean without crumbling apart. What really impressed me was the dust control. Pouring it into the box didn't create the usual cloud of dust, and it seems much easier on both my cat and me. Tracking is also noticeably better than with other litters I've used. No litter is completely track-free, but I found far fewer little paw prints scattered around the house. It also does a great job controlling odors, even in a multi-day stretch between full litter changes. If you want a litter that's easy to scoop, lasts a long time, and keeps smells under control, this one is definitely worth trying. A cleaner litter box, less mess, and one happy cat—that's a win in my book! 🐾

I first switched to Dr Elsey’s litter probably 10 years ago. I had a cat that kept going to the bathroom suddenly everywhere, but in the litter box. After binge watching my cat from hell, I think the show is called. I knew that she was doing it because she didn’t like something. I also took her to the vet to see if she had an infection but she did not previously I was using a very heavily scented Super lightweight litter from Walmart. I changed everything that she possibly could be hating about her litter box from removing the bag, to getting a bigger box, getting rid of the scented litter, getting rid of the lightweight litter that might get stuck in her feet, etc.. When I first tried this brand, it was the cat attract formula. I use that one or the one in the blue bag with some of the cat attract scent added in. It worked like a charm, and she started using the box again I kept using this brand in the blue bag because I really liked how hard it clumps when it clumps that hard. It’s super easy to scoop out and it keeps the rest of the litter, fresh or longer. I didn’t need the really strong smelling brand because it never stunk at all once I switched to this brand I’ve been a loyal user ever since. A few months ago this style was on sale somewhere and I thought I would try it. Holy cow it’s even better than the blue style! It clumps just as hard, still no smell, and it really really does reduce the amount of tracking. It cost a little bit more than the other style, but it’s worth it. I’ve also noticed that I seem to go through less litter and the bags are lasting longer, so it actually might even be a better deal than the previous sale that I was using. I highly recommend Dr. Elseys litter, no matter which style you choose. You really can’t go wrong. This is a really premium brand and worth every penny.

This is my favorite cat litter that I've used for my two cats out of the four that I have tried (World's Best, Tidy Cat Free and Clean, Dr. Elsey's Ultra). It has a much lower dust level than all of the others, which is one of the most important things for me. It also tracks far less than World's Best and Tidy Cat, and only a minimal amount makes it beyond the litter mat in front of their open topped litter box. I can typically go a full 21 days between total litter box clean outs with new litter even with two cats which is great and makes it cost effective, and aside from really stinky poops, it does well with odor control. I can't smell the pee of my two spayed girls at all. They don't seem to have an issue with the texture, and while it does stick to the sides of the stainless litter box, it comes off easy enough with the litter scoop.

Pretty good litter for the price. Still has a fair amount of dust and a lot of tracking. I like that it is unscented because my cat has allergies, so that definitely helps. The clumping is good. My cat likes it. Wish it was a little bit cheaper. Overall, it’s good enough that I have it on auto-ship.

Non tracking and doesn't stick to cat's butt after using the litter box. Not smelly clumping makes the litter box easy to clean and doesn't leave lots of fragments in the clay. Doesn't bother the cat's feet, she enthustically buries after using it.

So this is a tough one, As far as tracking goes it does what it says, I've noticed far less litter being tracked outside the box, so 5 stars there. But overall it stinks, like literally. Zero odor control and it doesn't clump well at all so scooping leaves behind alot of the urine parts that didn't clump. It's not the worst litter Ive tried I guess 🤷‍♀️

Love dr elseys. I am a first time cat mom and had no idea where to start when buying litter. I did a lot of trial and error over the year and dr Elsey’s always came out on top! It’s light weight, scoops and clumps well, you get sooo much for a low price. My girl loves it!

I was so surprised this cat litter lasted so long! I have one cat and usually if I scoop every day I get 2 weeks out of normal litter I buy but it still smells scent free a month later I ordered more then realized it had been a month it clumps perfect and I could probably keep using this litter longer because if you scoop regularly it stays clean but I got a new bag to use it didn’t get low either usually scooping a lot takes out a lot of litter. I’m very satisfied with this brand litter I will keep using it Thankyou

Great cat litter. I must have tried dozens and this is the best. It has the lowest tracking if any cat litter I've tested, and excellent odour trapping. It clumps reasonably well. In terms of value, Pet Smart is sells the 40 lb bag for the same price as the 18 lb bag in Amazon ($25 CAD). So half the price to order it there instead. They also do free delivery and recurring delivery.

I bought this litter as it had good reviews. Unfortunately it stuck in the autamatic cat litter machines & their was odour I won't be ordering this again very disappointed.

We have three litter boxes using different litters in each. Purchased this to limit tracking, however this tracks everywhere and is by far the worst litter I’ve purchased in many years. Don’t waste your money on this product.

We have tried a lot of litters in the past six months, and Dr. Elsey's is by far the best one we've used. Its greatest feature, in my opinion, is how much it just doesn't track. Our cats have trailed litter all over our house in the past. It's gross and frustrating and I've spent so much time sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing. But I haven't had to do any of that since we started using Dr. Elsey's. It's really good value, it lasts a long time, and it doesn't track. And, notably, our cats seem pretty happy with it, which is obviously important. I don't think it masks the smell necessarily any better than any other litter, but in all of my experimenting, I haven't found that any litter really masks the smell. The only really reliable way to handle the smell, I have found, is to empty the box frequently, to be honest. Anyways, we'll continue getting Dr. Elsey's because it has been great for us. As a final note: Amazon needs to make sure they pay their delivery drivers properly, because they're out here hauling heavy bags of cat litter up to people's apartments.

Great litter for multi cat households. Very low dust and good clumping. You won't be disappointed.
