Wool Plus Size Thigh High Socks For Thick Thighs- Extra Long Womens Warm Cable Knit Over Knee Stockings Leg Warmers

I. Love. These. My shins get cold! I bought 4 pairs. So warm and comfortable

These a soft the designs cute and I hooked on the clasps to some shorts and it worked pretty well. Their great size , great stretch I’m a short girl so they’re tall but just fold them over and it’s still cute . Almost too big which is a great thing in plus size things.

There is no elastic of any type in the tops. They do fit well but at 5ft9in they are not long enough to try too use garter belt and the included thigh straps while they have nice clasps and hardware they just cant work because the straps are a slick type of strap similar to stretchy bra strapping. To be able to keep these wool/cotton bland socks up the straps would need to be something grabby and not slide so easily on thew wonderful warm and comfortable socks. The only way I can think of keeping these up is to either sew then to a pair of shorts or maybe suede or a rough strapping to try to grab and hold the socks like old school medieval garters. I literally could not have made the strapping any tighter and still they do not stay up. I like to wear thigh high stockings and I am baffled by how to keep there socks from falling down even with the strapping provided, LOL.I do truly love these socks. The blend is nice and soft, though I prefer a bit more wool, the weave is classic and well executed comfortably stretching to it my fat lady legs yet conformed to my leg shape without bagging to sagging and yet feels comfortable which demonstrates the quality of the construction of the knit and yarn. I really really love these in spite of the drawback of as yet not being able to find a way to keep there up. These are perfect for when I am dressed up in some historical costume and cannot wear other alternatives because they interfere with the costume or would show and is not appropriate when demonstrating at a demo.I have no hesitation recommending these but the tops need some kind of redesign. If it is possible to make thigh high stocking that stay up why not socks?

Really comfy and fit well, but they are definitely more over the knee than thigh high. Even at full stretch, they don't get high enough.

The package: Two THIGH HIGH taupey griege cable leg warmers with 4 connector clips/ staysCons: the connectors/stays. Great in theory, just not for me. Damaged my manicure trying to get them open and feel like they may damage the fabric after an extended period of time. It’s kind of a moot issue for me though bc I don’t really plan on wearing the leg warmers as thigh high stockings, but appreciate the option.Pros: COMFY and warm — my bottom half is indecisive, one week size 10 jeans fit like a dream, the next size 14 dress slacks look tight and distorted, so I’ve always struggled with knee highs and tights being so tight I cannot put them on or being horrendously big.I wanted leg warmers reminiscent of the 80s, slouchy and cozy, which these are! I wear them almost every night on top of my sleep pants and they stay put. Bare leg recommendation would be to get a strap or elastic stay to keep them in place

These thigh highs actually fit large thighs! What a nice surprise. They are extremely comfortable, soft and warm. I love them and will be purchasing more. They do require garters. Now if they could put their heads together with Woman Within or one of the other large lady companies and get some really good garter panties, that would be great. Some sort of garter attached tank top would be even better. No corset, or girdle just something soft and stretchy that will hold up these wonderful socks.

I like the cable knit pattern, and the length is nice but there is no elastic whatsoever. The included garter clips are your only option, otherwise these thighs highs are down by your ankles in three steps... So disappointed, I just wanted to look cute and be cozy

Super soft, super stretchy, very comparable to other thigh highs I purchased, except the others were like $30. I've bought like 3 pairs of these though because they're so cheap in comparison! I think they'd still work on taller people, because I'm 5'5" and have to fold them over since I like them to hit mid thigh.
