The size & functioning are much better than a butane lighter & the bonus is it doesn't involve the climate-changing burning of fossil fuels. One charge lasts me for weeks, and the indicator gives you plenty of warning before a recharge is needed.

A little expensive for a lighter but very giftable. Works good and lasts a long time.
