I hooked this up under my desk to lights behind me. I use the desk mainly with my computer so I don't need the lights on however sometimes I do have to read and write on paper. I used to have to turn around and turn on the lights manually, but now I keep the switch under my desk which I can activate with my feet. It makes things very convenient. So far it's lasted me 3 months and I didn't notice any problems yet. I recommend this product.

This is a very nice extension for my hanging lamp. I put the switch on the floor to allow easy access. It works great and the cord is long enough that I can move it to different places on the floor or sit it on a table.

WARNING: Don't do this unless you know what you are doing... I used this to replace a foot switch for a lamp and could not find a foot switch that did not have the multi plug at the end. Cut it off the multi plug and wired it into the lamp. Far sturdier than the switch that was there.

Received these three weeks ago. After one week, one of them stopped working. Contacted Amazon, they sent out replacements and instructions and label to return the ones that stopped working. Received the replacements last Thursday, one of them...after only using 4 times does not work...you step on it and nothing happens. Absolute garbage...dont wast your time or money. Will be returning for the second time in less than a month

Bought the 2-pack, both failed within a week of sparse use. Better luck to the rest of you.

Love these button on/off switches. This was perfect for our black tinsel Christmas tree. It would be a great purchase for that out-of-the-way lamp that's hard to reach, too. Highly recommend.

Makes walking into the room so much better than trying to find the wall switch.
