The pictures are beautiful and you can follow the color chart that is on the back of the book or even substitute your own colors. However, the paper is very cheap/thin making it almost impossible to use anything but pencils and because the paper is such bad quality it was hard to use pencils smoothly. It looked almost "scratchy" in most places. Also, the pages are not perforated in this book.

Bought for my grandma. She loves Native Americans and there are not many adult color books out there. She liked the color suggestions the book gave. Only thing she didnt like was the suggested number color that is on the picture still showed through after coloring even with gel pens.

Be prepared to use only green and brown. Will not buy another Zen book. The numbers often seem out of character or context. Many areas were labeled with pencil numbers beyond what was listed in the key. Numbers looked like they were printed on old dot matrix printers. This does away with the whole point of purchasing a book with numbers.

First off, I guess I was expecting the same format as the books published by "Colour By Numbers". Unlike those publications, there are no "thumbnail" completed images for reference. I started the first picture, and came to a spot where the delineation between colours was unclear, and without a completed image for comparison, I just didn't feel like guessing. I wound up giving the book to a neighbour, hoping that it will be more to her liking.
