I've been very impressed with this privacy screen. It does exactly what it's supposed to do by keeping people beside you from seeing your screen while still providing a clear view straight on. The magnetic attachment makes it easy to install and remove whenever needed. What has impressed me most is how durable it is. Mine has taken a surprising amount of everyday abuse, including frequent removal, being tossed into a laptop bag, and regular handling, yet it hasn't ripped, cracked, or bent. I expected it to wear out much sooner, but it's held up extremely well. If you travel, work in coffee shops, airports, classrooms, or any shared workspace where you want a little extra privacy, this is a worthwhile investment. It's easy to use, holds securely, and has proven to be much more durable than I expected.

I was honestly just looking for an anti-glare/blue light reducing screen protector and came across this. Honestly I was like ehh $30 is a bit more than I care to spend but it also being a privacy screen & magnetic peeked my interest. I have a lot of nosey ass people at my job so I figured the privacy part of it was more enticing and justified the $30 so I said screw it and bought it. I just unpackaged it at work and it popped right on easy peasy with the magnet up top. I have an M3 MacBook Air with the 15 inch screen and it fits perfect. I have a window directly behind me and the sunlight always reflects off my screen so this blurs that out in addition to providing fabulous privacy protection as well! No bubbles, I actually have a clear screen protector underneath this and this one came with little double sided stickies for the bottom of the screen protector to hold it in place but I didn't need it honestly. It snapped on perfect with the magnet and isn't moving unless I move it myself which there's no need to. I wanted it to be removable as well for when I use my laptop at home, I have no need for the privacy. But this was a great find and great quality, definitely with the $30.

There was an error on my part in attaching the privacy protector. I had reached out before realizing my mistake, which caused the adhesive at the bottom to not stick. SightPro has excellent customer service, and they are replacing the privacy screen with an updated version. Even with the adhesive not sticking, the privacy screen did its job and did its job well! I would highly recommend SightPro!

First Impressions: Nice looking packaging and presentation. I felt professional looking at this. Pros: The magnetic strips at the top of the screen itself worked for me. The adhesive strips you add to the top of your screen were easy to apply, and the screen itself does provide privacy from peripheral angles. I do a double take when returning to my laptop after short departures as I think it has gone to sleep. Cons: It’s a small thing, quite literally, but the included camera cover is easy to miss so don’t inadvertently drop it or throw it out. The adhesive strip, for me at least, was laughable, insomuch as it did not keep the bottom of the screen in place very long. Like the camera cover, it’s also easy to miss and you might put it on the wrong side, at first. Due to the aforementioned strip, I ended up adding small strips of electrical tape to keep it in place. It’s not pretty but my laptop is pretty old and I prefer having the privacy screen be there than having to go back and forth removing it or having the bottom swing out when I lower/close the lid. Tips: Some companies have you measure your screen diagonally while others have you go by length and width so follow their guidelines for getting fit. This one was length by width. For this one also take note of the adhesive strip as it’s easy to miss. If you also find the adhesive strip to be ineffective search for the likes of “privacy screen mounting tabs,” “removable adhesive strips for privacy screen,” “privacy screen adhesive strips,” or something similar as a cheap work around. This item is also a fingerprint magnet if you look at it but these aren’t visible, at least now with my regular usage and sitting from about two feet away. Conditional Rating: 4/5 Addendum: I ended up buying a mounting installation kit from Peslv as SightPro didn’t have any in their Amazon store, and did away with the tacky electrical tape. I emailed SightPro about the adhesive strip not being effective (almost the entire review up to this point) and to my utmost surprise, after a brief exchange, they sent me a replacement (non-magnetic) one! Better yet, they also included a letter, some bonus camera covers, and it arrived in less than a work-week. Grade A customer service from SightPro! So while the product itself still didn’t quite fully deliver, SightPro’s customer service went above and beyond. My updated, conditional rating is 4.5/5 but that’s due to said customer service and the fact that my issues still occurred. I'm mostly disappointed with the effective privacy angle. You really only get about 30 degrees of privacy. The size wasn't perfect, there’s a sliver around the edge where you can see the screen (basically just light). It was easy to install. I like that it's removable; however, the "reusable" adhesive at the bottom doesn’t stick very well. I also like that it comes with a case/protector so you can store the screen when you remove it. I have an ASUS Zenbook, and due to the small lip around the frame, the laptop closes completely with the privacy screen on, which is super nice because I don’t want to constantly remove it. It’s also not pressing on the keys or putting stress on the hinges. This probably won’t be the case for Macs or many other laptops. I won’t be returning it, but I also wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

The guards fit as described, perfect for my laptop and for my extra screen. I ordered the correct size and aspect ratio, thanks to the clear description on the website. I like the magnetic strips at the top, and the strip at the bottom to help it stay on the screen. The guard stays on even when I close my laptop, which is better than a previous brand I bought where you had to be very careful closing the laptop so you not bend the guard.

Fits like a glove and works very well, super easy to attach because of built-in magnetic strip. By nature eyes can see your screen from behind, but from either side it feels very private. Way too expensive for a piece of plastic, hence the four stars, but does the job well.

I've wasted twice my money for some other types of screen protector. This one turns out to be the perfect buy and attaches the magnet fine. Although the bottom part doesn't lies flat to the screen at times, there's a small double sided tape included to stick it. Great product! Recommended!
