I have used tons of tape measures on my DIY projects and this is by far my absolute favorite one! It is only 18' as opposed to the standard 25' Dewalts I usually use; however, it more than makes up for it with its lighter weight, the easy to read numbering, the easiest to use pull-and-stop feature - which "smoothly" auto retracts with the touch of button, and the "double-sided" measurements are great. I keep this one in my kitchen drawer for everyday needs.

Bought this for myself and I love it!! Takes the guess work out of your measurements. I won’t let anyone borrow it because I know it will disappear!! 😂😂

The black number scale is easy to read with my poor eyesight. I love the push button control when retracting the tape. It also does not have an overly rounded tape, it seems to lay a little flatter than most. It fits in my hand better than most. So far so good.

So far, so good. I love the white lettering on black background. My 78 year old eyes love it. Now, I am hoping it lasts for a long time. It seems durable, and works great.

This is a good tape. Is it the toughest? Nope. Is it a huge name brand? Nope. What is IS however is a great tape for woodworkers in a home shop or for around the house. If you’re a framer, then probably not. If you just take measurements for QC out in the field maybe. But in a shop, it worked really well. Being that it’s a 16’ tape means it’s lighter and is light on your shop apron. With the auto lock style you don’t have to worry about snap back when retracting the tape as you can slow it down. The black contrast makes it easy to read in a less than optimal lit shop and in shadows cast be your machines. The fractions are a nice feature as well. What can you say about the cost? Nothing really that’s good. Don’t think because this is at a much lower cost that the big brand tapes that it is junk. In the right place and need. It works well.

I’ve been using it heavily for about a year at work. It looks quite unique and is easy to use. I like it more than other tape measures.

I wish the numbers were more clear in a dim room

I necer leave revbut I like this tape a lot.18 years framing and I would absolutely use this on the job. 40 years ago would have been nice. 7/8 wide heavy tape, easy 8 foot stretch. Time saved going vertical with the bottom markings. The smoothest highly controlable retract spring I've ever used. You won't regret it.
