Q: It states that these can be used to convert a Firestone keg to ball and lock, but then states further down that they are not compatible? Clarify plz.

If you want to convert your firestone kegs ( pin lock) to ball lock you can do that. But if u have pinlock disconnects for your beer and co2 lines they wont be compatible with these poppets.

Q: I just recieved these and it would seem I got 2 liquid ones. My kegs are marked in and out will not having the gas one effect use?

The ball locks are colored gray (gas in) and black (liquid out). Each fit on their corresponding posts. You can force the gray on the “out” post but most likely get leaks, both air and liquid. They are slightly diff sizes and I would recommend not doing it.
