I'm sure it isn't the product, but I am having the HARDEST time getting this thing to connect to my computer no matter what network I'm using. I've tried connecting it at home and connected at first, but then it stopped connecting and then I tried at a local Starbucks close by to where I live that has "public" wifi and again no luck. I'm going to the Apple Store today to see if maybe it's the product, but my actual computer. Hmmmm.

I have an Android phone and this works right away. Very easy to use, once you place the connection into the phone, the transfer begins once you choose what you want transferred into the drive. Great value for the money, you can transfer from one drive to another on your computer. Storage capacity is great. You can use this on anything from an android to your iPad and iPhone. It comes with the instructions and cables. Connectivity is solid. I'm glad I bought it.

I Love my iDiskk 2TB Apple Certified External Hard Drive and I have a whole lot a space now for everything and it is so easy to use to and I will say it again AMAZON is TERRIFIC!

Does not work with iPad and will not copy IMG extension photos. Error Error cannot copy”. I selected all of my 1000+ phots and short videos and would not comply. Somehow I did get 3 pictures with IMG copied when I tried over and over. The iDisk app is horrible! Very difficult to follow and implement. I am very experienced starting with an Apple IIe with many desk tops laptops pads with no problems with backups. This Apple “certified” for iPad use drive is worthless. After many hours of trying and searching for answers there are none to be had. I am returning it.

Takes a long time to move files. Batching files takes a very long time and there is a significant lag in refreshing the user interface while batching.

I'm fascinated. I wanted to save my photos from many years ago because Google Photos keeps demanding more storage, so I decided to buy this, which has been fantastic. Now I can delete the photos from Google Photos because I've saved them here, and I'm sure that when I'm old I'll be able to show my daughters photos from their childhood.

It is fantastic. It holds 3t it can be plugged up to three different devices and it’s got wires to plug into them, but the wires are attached to the device so you don’t have to worry about losing them and when you’re done, they just tuck right inside to the device and if it’s in the Palm of your hand. it is great. I had a technician here working on my Wi-Fi and I showed it to him and he even thought it was great. He said that was awesome. I said yeah I know it is so cool. I was used to these little things that are about an inch long that you plug into the end of your phone that you’re constantly losing, this you don’t lose big enough. You put it down you know where you put it down at those memory sticks are like yeah I saw that a month ago. Where is it and you never find it so you had to go out and get another one you don’t have to do that , you know that it’s nice . Technology just keeps getting better.

Very good product

Used for putting embroidery patterns onto. Can use for photos. It’s easy to use and has three cables for use with standard lap top, iPad/phone and one other end to link to another item. Feels strong and good quality.

Does not recognize files, Notes or Contacts on iPhone 13. Useless
