Hi I bought these Large Flange Rivets for my loft roof window one of rivets came off and I need big head so grip firmly and it done the job good quality very happy. 😃

I have been using rivets for many years but only started using these large flange versions fairly recently, I find them to be brilliant, especially being black they don't need painting, used on many jobs with no issues at all. Great for constructing aluminium frames, I sometimes put a small washer on the other side if it's thin sheet metal to prevent it tearing through, works a treat.

With a wide head these rivets are perfect for gripping a softer wood to say metal brackets as they barely sink in as smaller head rivets would. I used them to hold Western Red cedar slats to aluminium supports I built for greenhouse shelving
