The Book of Botanical Tangles 2: Learn Tangles and Line Drawings to Create Your own Botanical Art

MZ creates some of the most beautiful illustrations. I have enjoyed everyone of her books. It’s always exciting when a new one comes out!

Sent angle is a new word to me. I love the look of many of these tangles. I look forward to experimenting with this method.

Skip book 1, get this #2. It has everything and more from the first book. Lots of inspiration for practicing illustration fun botanical patterns.

This book delivers a large number of tangles with clear stepouts (the step by step process of creating the patterns). It also has a nice section that features several Zentangle artists. Overall a very good book, especially for the price.I had some minor disappointments with the book. The cover prominently features color but the contents are only black and white. Some of the cover tangles are not explained inside the book. I craved a little more text to accompany the tangles.There is some beautiful artwork in the borders, and a nice explanation of how to derive new patterns from existing ones. Overall highly recommended but not quite a 5 star.

The designs in here are phenomenal. Hope to be able to incorporate something comparable in my own drawings, but these are pretty complicated and so still left baffled by how the author/artist had done some of these. Still a real treat, like I said, for the eyes and I would def buy again.

Easy steps to create beautiful botanical components to complete simple or complex tangles. I am ready to expand and change the direction of my tangles with floral and colorful designs. Tangle on!

Disjoint from starting your layout (4 dots, etc) to samples (which aren’t in layout area). Otherwise, I’m sure it will be a good reference when stuck on what to fill blank space.

Love these MZ Creates books! The instructions and format helped me learn new designs. I utilize both kindle versions as well as hard copies - both are high quality and very inspirational. I use the process of drawing these tangles to help remove my focus on chronic pain into my art. I feel like I am able to create beauty from my pain most days. Great mental therapy and release! 🌻😊🌻

I’m am currently using this book to learn more tangles on my Zentangle art journey. This book is perfect. I’m using the kindle edition which allows me to really zoom in to see the tangle in detail which makes it even easier to follow.You can produce lovely Zentangle as a complete beginner but practice doe’s definitely make a difference. The whole process is fun, meditative and leaves you feeling like you can create something beautiful

Excellent book for learning floral design. Fairly easy to follow and extremely creative. Glad I bought this one.

Extremely clear instructions how to do each design step by step. You don’t need anything else but pencils, pens and tiles.
