Q: I want to make sure my glasses fit within the shooting glasses. What dimensions of glasses will fit in the shooting glasses? Thanks

Here's the problem with the responses you are getting. First, I don't believe they are taking into consideration the actual entire width of the prescription glasses & the stand-off depth. My glasses are pretty much the latest style & they measure 5 1/4" W (at the widest point, which is past the temple joints) X 1 1/4" H & they will not fit! The width & height is fine, but the depth is the problem. When I put the shooting glasses on, the inside of their lens scratch against the outer lens of my prescription glasses. That being said, I suppose everyone's face is different, but you must take into consideration the depth (stand-off) of your current glasses vs. how far the shooting glasses will stand off from your face. If your glasses don't stand off from your face more than about 1/4", you're probably ok. But I see no way to determine this before you order & try them on due to the differences in everyone's face. I honestly feel this is one of those rare situations where only trial & error will work. Order them & if they don't fit, return them. You certainly won't get a better return policy than Amazon. Hope this helps.

Q: Has anyone found an eyeglass case that will hold these shooting glasses?

I do use the earmuffs plus ear plugs. There is no problem with safety - shooting glasses for me

Q: Can I still wear these alone without prescription glasses?

Yes I wear them for shooting with stick on bifocal lenses.
